I love to watch Netflix and YouTube. It is perfect for that. Plus slideshows for family gatherings :-)

The Chromecast is amazing for the price. It sets up so easy and works pretty much flawlessly. My only complaint is that there is no good way (yet) to stream local media. I have a lot of media on a HomeServer and would love to be able to stream that as well. Other than that, though, it works just as advertised!

Bought it during cyber Monday and worth for watching videos and using smart TV

Google Chromcast is a great item Easy to install and you can enjoy movies, videos and many other things.

if you need something cheap to watch internet videos or movies in your tv , this is a really good choice

My wife and I have one in each of out rooms. It's great to be able to stream movies or music and select which one to use in the house. Also when you stream an app you can still navigate the other functions of your device without interfering with the chromecast stream. Overall, great setup, and easy to use.

This is my second Chromecast. I use it for Netflix, HBO Go, ShowtimeAnywhere, Comedy Channel and YouTube.

The chromecast can be difficult to set up, and can't always be detected, but when it's working, it's very easy to use and the picture quality is great. It is pretty limited in apps, but hopefully that changes soon. It's a pretty good product for a great price.

I am pretty impressed with the Chromecast so far. Playback is great along with compatibility with my Nexus phone. Only drawback I have experienced so far is that it is a little flaky with one of my TVs that is a little further away from the wireless router. Other devices work well in this area but the Chromecast is hit or miss. If it wasn't for that issue it would be 5 stars.

Setup is a breeze but ran into an issue where the setup froze after updating to the most recent firmware. Was easily figure out with the help of the web. Just had to disconnect the chromecast pwr and reconnect for it to reboot itself. In my setup, I had to installed the chromecast to the TV first before the pwr. I found out that by hooking up the pwr to the chromecast first then inserting into the TV, there was no signal shown when switch to the input it was on. After setup, casting is fantastic. with youtube, what i mainly use it for. Casting a tab from a laptop is very slow, maybe because it's in its beta testing. Had to basically lower to 480p just for it to cast somewhat smoothly. No 5ghz band option. Build quality looks good. Small. Sleek but need/ has a cable for pwr. Someone should come up with pwr over HDMI or something. All in all, its very useful, for now.

I felt that the installation was very easy and I was able to begin casting from my tablet right away.

Works good to stream you tube videos but in wish I could mirror everything

Works great! Very easy to use and set up. I bought it for my parents and they were able to figure it out.

I really like this because i watch a lot of YouTube and it's perfect cause now I get to watch It on my tv

Nicely surprised and i think its only the beginning. Lots of apps to use.. Basically makes ur tv a smart tv.
