Great product for projecting to your TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using HBO-Go and Max Go and Netflix has made projecting on the TV really cool. Also learned if I use chrome I can project what I am doing on the Internet to the TV. Anticipate more apps will become available to use this device but right now I am very pleased with what I got and for the price.

worth it for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works pretty good with NetFlix and YouTube the main reason I purchased it , the only problem ive had with it is that sometimes after a movie is playing I'm unable to stop ,pause , fast forward the movie from my Samsung tablet so I have to unplug the chromecast to end the video. But for the money I can live with it , I would prefer it had its own remote to control it

It works, buy it when it goes on sale!

I rarely use it to do any other "Casting," but I could see its potential usefulness. Buy it when it goes on sale for around $25 -- you've got nothing to lose. There is a significant lag when you Cast Netflix, though, but this is what you get from Internet streamers.

Where's Amazon Prime?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's good, but the lack of casting for non-specific web pages and, especially, for Amazon Prime is a big deal I think. For not much more you can get a cheap Panasonic DVD player from Groupon with BluRay and full access to Netflix, Prime, Hulu and practically everything else. But if you just wanrt limited access, mostly Netflix, then this might be the one for you.
