I love that I can be on my iPad searching for something and then stream it straight into my big screen.

I have a cromecast on two tvs. I love being able to choose what I want to watch from my smart phone.

I love my chromecast and its perfect for kids that have tablets. Its cheaper than buying a smart tv.

I'm still up in the air about the chromecast. Yes, you can send what's on your laptop, tablet, and phone to the television if you use the Google Chrome browser.The thing I don't like is that, unlike the roku stick, you don't get a menu on your big screen of apps to choose.Also,your connected device is your remote...some people like the functionality of a natural remote.

We already have other android devices connected to TV which we use to watch Netflix and amazon prime etc. We connected this chromecast to one of the hdmis on the entertainment center and just cast audio, music, podcasts, radio to it using our phone or chromebook without turning on the TV. The price was right too. Best buy had a promotion running $5 off and $20 (or $25 don't remember) Google play credit. Very happy with our purchase.

This thing is awesome! I plugged it into my TV USB/HDMI slots and it works off the wifi flawlessly.

I bought the Chromecast because we don't have DVR or HD cable but we are paying for HBO. I always forget to watch shows when they are airing or I just get too busy to watch. Now I can watch anytime I want to. It streams great to the TV with a clear picture. Well worth the $30 I paid for it!
