I've actually purchased two Chromecasts since I found out about them. Once you get the initial setup completed, you're good to go. I can cast from my iPad or android phone with no delays or issues. I'm currently using one with my 27" LCD monitor, all you need is an HDMI input to use.

I have these dongles on two TVs. Of the supported streaming services, I use it for Netflix, for which it works better than streaming with my wireless blu-ray player, and occasionally YouTube. It's a no-brainer to set up and use. It's completely transparent using supported streaming services. The only disappointments: Streaming from unsupported sources - for instance, a tv episode from one of the networks - the result is jerky and not really watchable. And there's this fight with Amazon that results in streaming using my kindle is not directly possible. (Work-around: when I want to stream Netflix to my bedroom tv without going downstairs to the computer to start and sop it, I use GoToMyPC on my kindle to control the computer. Kinda clunky, but it works. To Google and Amazon: Get over it. Customers are important. You're not.)

I've been pretty impressed with the Chromecast. The ability to play YouTube videos and display Chrome browser pages (with add-in) is pretty neat. I really home they work on apps to support more streaming services. Excellent but for the price.

Works great. Easy to set up. Easy to use. No problems with any aspect of the Chromecast device.

I have an Amazon FireStick so my review is a comparison of the two. The support is more robust in the ChromeCast. The FireStick is less buggy. I assumed the 2-year-old ChromeCast would be more vetted but it hung up multiple times, especially with Google Music. It is amazing for the price but I'd recommend the FireStick until the next iteration comes out.

As always, an excellent product from Google. I have four of them at home. Work very nicely !
