I have these dongles on two TVs. Of the supported streaming services, I use it for Netflix, for which it works better than streaming with my wireless blu-ray player, and occasionally YouTube. It's a no-brainer to set up and use. It's completely transparent using supported streaming services. The only disappointments: Streaming from unsupported sources - for instance, a tv episode from one of the networks - the result is jerky and not really watchable. And there's this fight with Amazon that results in streaming using my kindle is not directly possible. (Work-around: when I want to stream Netflix to my bedroom tv without going downstairs to the computer to start and sop it, I use GoToMyPC on my kindle to control the computer. Kinda clunky, but it works. To Google and Amazon: Get over it. Customers are important. You're not.)

I've been pretty impressed with the Chromecast. The ability to play YouTube videos and display Chrome browser pages (with add-in) is pretty neat. I really home they work on apps to support more streaming services. Excellent but for the price.

Extremely easy set up (less than 5 minutes). Works awesome. Makes any phone or tablet the remote and you can still use the phone/tablet for other things while playing. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive way to connect TV to the internet for movie/tv show viewing.

I got the chrome cast out of curiosity. I use Apple TV on my other television and I'm used to it a little more. Chromecast lets you view from your mobile (Apple) device on certain apps like Netflix. It doesn't do full mirroring on iOS devices. Tech support says they're working on iOS to work fully soon. My wife uses an android phone and it works great with it.

For the price, it is a fantastic way to turn any TV into a smart TV!

This googlecromecast is excellent little piece easy to connect with and app with your phone or your computer. It took me less than 3 min. I bought an app name avia a this tranfer everything to your tv from your phone. The price is excellent to get it on every tv in your house. I love it.

works well with Netflix and you tube! needs good wifi speed though.
