Worth it, but not all I expected

As folks find ways around cable, more and more subscription services are popping up, making cable more convenient and not that much more expensive...sadly... still it is nice to project items from the computer on the TV and the photography that is a 'screen saver' is awesome!

easy to use

I wish I could play things from safari or chrome but it only plays items from Netflix, Google Play, YouTube, etc. However, for about $40, it is a great way to connect my iPad to my TV and play videos.

Fairly easy setup

There are some pages that do not "cast" as well as others due to the way they spawn multiple windows. I did need to install Chrome on the PC, adding yet another browser to the mix. All in all, my Dad likes that he can watch the ballgames he normally streams on his PC on the big screen tv.

Nice for a quick connect

Able to stream from my Droid and my iPad. Had a co-worker barge in with his droid and we started watching what he wanted. Thinking about getting another one for my team to have for after hours.
