It's been great for movies and ESPN3. The $20 google play that came with it has been awesome.

I initially bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother in law, but succumbed and had to try it for myself. This thing is great! It allows me to seamlessly stream Netflix (the only thing I use it for) and I am quite pleased. Also, I bought a second one for my brother in law.

It's more than worth the purchase to stream from a pc/tablet/phone with great resolution to a large screen tv with even greater resolution.You gotta love technology and I'm looking forward to what's coming next that will make my Chromecast "dated".. I'd recommend this to anyone who's a movie buff or dreams of watching online content on a bigger screen.

I LOVE my Chromecast! Easy set up between the app, the ipad and my TV. Very user friendly.

This device is a boon. You can just play whatever you want from your mobile device or laptop.

You pretty much don't need this if you are an iPhone / Apple TV owner. Allows use of computer, phone or tablet as a remote to drive the device. Video is not streamed from your device so bandwidth requirements are not as severe as AirPlay, but you are currently limited in terms of app support to YouTube, Chrome tab on some devices, Netflix, Pandora and a few other apps. More and more apps will add support in the future, but, so far, no mirroring support. I find myself wishing it had support for a GUI and a standard remote as well. The free Netflix offer originally handed out with this reduced the cost to the point where there was no reason not to get one.

Chromecast is like having a smart t.v without actually having one.

Definitely have found the Chromecast to be easy to use and great for casting shows/movies!

this is good for people that has Netflix, YouTube, HBO GO, Hulu Plus, Pandora, Crackle, ESPN, MLB.TV, Google Play Movies & TV, Google Play Music, Chrome* , and don't have a smart Tv or if you want to watch YouTube on Your TV so this is ok and Your Phone works as a Remote they have a list of the apps that you can use, I was thinking that I was able to see everything that is in my phone but is not like that. For example if you want to play a game and want to see it on the Tv is not going to work! An app that you found and you can watch movies and TV shows for free? is not going to work it doesn't have the mirror action it says it does but is beta and when I try it black screen so not ready there is other devices that can do the the same and more for about $30 to $40 dollars and will do a lot of stuff This is good but not on full potential just search other items first and make sure you just want simple stuff like YouTube or the other apps that you have to paid for a subscription!

You can stream anything you want with Chromecast. Its cheaper than competitors because it does not come with a controller, so you need to control it through your media device.

Easily connect up my laptop, tablet or phone to display or show someone anything I want too.

Enough said make your TV a smart one. Just plug into the HDMI outlet and you're good to go.

This product works great with my tv, and me to stream whatever is on my tablet and computer.

Love it will definitely be buying more. Need one for each room.
