Chrome cast is awesome I can watch my YouTube videos and movies right on my tv, love it

I use this quite regularly, even as I type this review. Great for basic streaming on the big screen. There are a good amount of apps that are not supported for "official" casting, but a few of the most popular apps work great (i.e. Netflix, Twitch, and YouTube). Everything else that is not "officially" supported can be mirrored from your device to the Chromecast. And for the price, how ca you go wrong?

Works as advertised made cutting the cable cord much easier.

Found this product very easy to install and use. Would recommend to friends and family.

I got this for my dad so that he could cast pictures he wanted to share during holidays, or cast really anything he wanted. I was unaware at the time that the list of applications was shorter than 10, that basic things like casting pictures from an Android phone was not possible, and that Google had blocked anyone developing for the Chromecast until further notice. If you want to cast Netflix or HBO on the cheap, this device will make you very happy. If you want to use it like its been marketed, prepare to feel some disappointment. That being said, I would still recommend it, if I knew exactly what it was going to be used for.

I use this mainly for Netflix and Rhapsody. My friends can easily connect and sling items to the Chromecast. I use it with an HDMI and audio splitter to send sound to my main speakers instead of through the TV.

This produced is great if you want to stream content from a computer to your TV screen.

Love watching on a larger screen things we would watch online. Very easy setup and use.

I really like the ability to use my smartphone and the Google Chrome App so I can utilize all the media off my computer to view on my TV where the Chrome Cast dongle is jacked into the TV Port. I mainly use the device in this manner but it has so many other uses and applications to expand upon! Definitely worth the value!

I use Chromecast all the time from my laptop to my tv. I love watching Youtube with it!

I had been hesitant about purchasing the Google Chromecast, but I'm glad I did. It definitely comes in handy when you want to search for a program on HBO GO if you want to watch it on your TV. The On Demand isn't always as user friendly on the DVR, so it is easier to search for movies or programs on HBO GO on your Android tablet or phone and then cast it to your TV. It also works great for YouTube or Netflix. You also have the option to cast your Google Chrome tab to your TV. The video quality isn't the greatest if you cast the Google Chrome tab from your computer, but that feature is still in Beta testing. The video quality is great for HBO GO, Netflix, YouTube, etc. The only thing that would make it better would be more apps that you could cast to your TV from your phone or tablet.

If one is looking for an easy way to view something from a computer screen to a TV set, this works well. Chromecast must be on the same wifi as computer. Wish the tablet wasn't limited to Netflix, You Tube but included sites like Crackle. Assume Google will expand eventually.
