is a really good solution when you just have led tv and you want it convert smart

I bought two of these and have them hooked up in different rooms of the house. They allow me to stream digital media to various rooms at the click of a button. A couple add ons to the Chrome browser and I can cast any internet window to a TV. Great value for the price.

The GOOGLE Chromecast is by far the best streaming stick you can buy that's under $40

When I've been able to connect, I've been really happy with the Chromecast! It's the connection that I've continued to have problems with - this might be due to the router I'm using, but searching for help/documentation online has only led to dead ends. I'm currently working with Chromecast support to find out what the problem is, but it's been frustrating to be able to cast one day, and then not the next. It's not as easy as Google claims, but I look forward to having it work consistently - I think it's a great product!

Brilliant and cheap way for streaming mobile content on TV

Bought this as a travel device for use on the road. It's meet my expectations and I consider it to be a great buy for the price. Only nitpick is that occasionally I experience what I call lag... not a lot but again it's a nitpick. I've used it with the following devices: Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy S 8.4, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, iPhone 5, iPad mini Retina and MacBook Pro 13" Retina. I also use an Apple TV (latest model) which is excellent as we'll but... I use the smaller Google Chromecast for my travels. I recommend it. Only reason for the 4-Star is due to there not being a 4.5-Star choice. :-)

I got one as a toy, then just kept getting them for every room in the house. This is a great quick gift for any techie in your life. You just can't have too many of these in your life. I only gave it a 4 star rating because it can have problems staying connected to the internet, but new updates have increased stability with each revision.

I bought this Google Chromecast so we could watch Netflix on our TV. It works great!

The Chromecast is great! It is inexpensive and a great alternative for those who want to easily stream Netflix and Hulu to their TV. (That is all I use mine for) I might even be purchasing another one for the other TV in my house. It is definitely a good purchase.

Its only fault is that it disconnect to often when in use.
