I was able to hook it up in 2 minutes, good if watch lots of youtube and netflix. Also works great to stream videos from chrome browswer, but sometimes starts lagging for HD videos. would love for more apps to support it sooner.

This is a handy little gadget. The video and sound quality is generally good, sometimes great, though it varies from site to site and video to video. If I could give it 4.5 rather than 4, I would, the only really problem is having to plug it into a socket for power, although I dont really know how they can get it around this, without making the piece bigger, with room for batteries. also, it would be nice if it would make everything playable (basically a second monitor), but its a Google product, so I understand the compatibility setup. I got it on sale during Cyber Monday, but its a great deal even at regular price.

I wanted a way to watch movies/videos on my tv from my phone. I looked online at the different ways to do this and still hasn't really decided how to go about it so I stopped in Best Buy and was directed to the Chromecast. It was cheaper then I expected and works great! Just have to have Wi-Fi, so if you take it somewhere that doesn't it won't work, but Wi-Fi is almost everywhere these days

This product has been the best puchase i've made in a long time. Other adapters like this have exsited for awhile but none with the ease of use like this one. Its not only good for streaming shows but its also great for sharing pictures and video with friends on our TV!

If you are buying one, odds are you have your reasons why. I bought mine to cast my laptop browsing to the tv. It does that, but i was trying to draft my NFL team on NFL.com and for some reason, it would'nt cast that screen... I returned it for that reason. Other than that, i can see how it could be a great accessory for somebody.

I bought a Roku 2, which is great as well, before I knew about Chromecast. Very easy to setup and use. It's excellent for streaming to the TV from your laptop, tablet or smartphone! Since I bought Chromecast, that's all I've been using to watch my shows and movies!

I bought this for my mother-in-law to use to watch Netflix while on extended bed rest. It was easy set up for me as I am a technical person. I don't think she could of set it up herself. Once set up she was able to figure out how to use it after a little bit of explanation.

I bought at a great price. Works better than I expected. I need another for our den.

Has a very easy setup, sometimes there's a few hiccups, but overall works just fine.

Chromecast works great and is definitely worth purchasing.

Works exactly as advertised. Five minutes after opening the box we were casting. I love it my only complaint is that I have to restart the app when I want to connect, pausing in the middle of a movie isn't all that easy.
