This is a great product. I wish it casted more apps but in time I'm sure it will.

It works! Bottom line! It's an easy way to bring Netflix to older non-smart tv's.

It is good for using in your home or some offices, but I had hoped to be able to use it at hotels when I travel. Due to network access requirements, so far all hotels I stay at do have network setups that allow Chromecast to be used. I would recommend to my friends, but I will also let them know about the limitations I have found.

I bought to stream movies from my tablet to my TV. was easy to hookup and use.

I bought the google chrome cast so that my daughter could watch netflix on the big tv instead of the nook. It works great for this application, but I wish it would stream xbmc, great product for the price I'm very happy

Appreciate that the entire presentation of device is small and efficient, even the packaging. It's inexpensive, and with the smartphone/tablet interface, currently accesses limited (Netflix and Utube) online entertainment, with more sources promised in the future.

This gets used in my house everyday. Mostly for netflix. Never have any problems.

This is a fantastic little tool if you don't have another way to watch Netflix or YouTube videos. Depending on the device that you are using with the Chromecast you may not be able to cast tabs, so if you are trying to stream a video on a random website you may not be able to cast that video to your television through the Chromecast. And if that is the case and you don't have any other devices that play Netflix or YouTube, then it is definitely worth it. However, if you have a game system like Xbox or Playstation that already contains Netflix and YouTube apps then this really won't do you much good. Check online to see if the device you will be using with the Chromecast will be able to cast tabs or not before you decide whether this is worth purchasing.

I understand that the Chromecast was designed to be used through a Google smart device. Having said that, I wish there was the option of a stand alone remote. That would surely drive up the price. Either way, I already have an Android phone and am happy with the way it works with Chromecast. One complaint would be that sometimes my Android phone becomes un-paired somehow from the stream on my TV after a long viewing time, and I have to re-establish connection. I have to find the content, (ie a youtube video) and attempt to play it again on my phone. All the while my current stream on the TV is still running and I am not able to control it. When the connection is re-established, the phone will somehow re-synch with the stream and I don't loose my place.
