She did have a little bit of difficulty getting it working, But she is in no way tech savy. She loves the chromecast. My mom doesn't have cable, so it has allowed her to "cast" from her laptop and she can listen to pandora on the tv speakers and also put Netflix up onto the bigger screen of her non smart tv. She loves it.
