The chromecase basically works by plugging it into your tv into the hdmi plug. You can connect it to your network at home and be able to cast your screen from your computer, tablet, or phone right onto the screen. The only issue I have had, is when we have switched providers and changed our network, we had to re-program it to work. It is kind of glitchy from my phone, but I can get it to work by clicking through utube for some reason. I love the offers and deals you can get by chromecast offers. Make sure you check it periodically for a free movie or other offers. Its still worth the money. As there have been several occasions in which I want to show my husband an article to read, or something I am going to purchase online. It is very easy to use.

Super easy to instal and setup. Worked great for netflix and youtube. I was told it would sling my pics and vids from phone to tv, I was unable toget that feature working. Otherwise it worked great

It's nice not to have to hook up a tablet to the tv to stream content, however, you cannot stream everything from your tablet to your tv, whatever you are trying to stream has to be chromecast enabled, so there are limitations.. The other thing that I was dissappointed with is that the unit needs to be constantly plugged into an outlet or proper USB port on the tv..not a huge deal but also all the chromecast tv commercials imply there is no need for a power supply to be hooked up at all times. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and not really upset that the unit has to be plugged in all the time, it's nice to be able to basically turn my older LCD into a smart tv with chromecast.

The Google Chromecast is a user friendly device for streaming videos/pictures and more from your computer, tablet or phone. It is very compact and simple to hook up. Netflix streaming is flawless.

My roommate and I use this all the time to watch our favorite shows on Netflix or HBO GO. It's really easy to connect - we don't even have to switch our tv input to start watching a show. As soon as we hit play and hit the chromecast icon, the input on the tv switches over to the chromecast automatically. In the past, we've had some trouble with the chromecast connecting to our wireless, and trouble staying connected to the wireless (not a problem with the wireless..) but that was mostly with the HBO GO and that was right after that app was released for chromecast. Hoping that more and more apps are added so the usability of the chromecast expands, but we're enjoying this product so far.

I like the item. It was easy to use and set up. We've primarily used it to stream netflix from my iPad. It works great for that and I'm amazed at the picture quality. I'm sure there's more that I can do with it than I have at this point.
