It's alright but I think the Roku is much better

I find this cumbersome and the response can be a bit sluggish. I tried Chromecast out because I was looking for something less expensive than Roku. I also heard I could bring things up on my mobile device web browser and then stream them over. I have had mixed success with this. The biggest problem is that I haven't figured out how to stream my Amazon Prime content, and I'm still not sure there is a way. I've tried many times, a few different ways (web browser, etc), and each time given up frustrated. So, I may have saved a few dollars over my Roku, but I like my Roku MUCH better for its agility and wider availability of Apps (namely Amazon Video). It does work alright for Starz and HBO, but it doesn't really save the history, I have to start fresh every time.

Google Chromecast!

YouTube, Netflix, Google TV/Movies, and a bunch of web-enabled movies on sites. Stream them over to your TV. Takes about 5 min set up and 3 steps to do.

I'm just hoping they add support for local files from cell phones and support of more apps!

Great gift idea

She was very excited about it and figures it out right away. The only issue i had was that it wouldn't connect to her wifi. I tried switching routers and nothing. Then I tried it again with the original and it worked. Other than that its awesome.

Great for viewing Youtube and Netfix

Google Chromecast Great Product! Super Useful

It was so easy to set up and works GREAT!! I even purchased another one and sent it to my daughter who loves it too!! Buy it you can't go wrong!!

Easy to install

Not perfect but good device
