Excellent device

Although it has limited compatibility, it works just fine with Netflix, YouTube and Pandora from a mobile phone - iOS and Android. I wish it could stream from a mobile Chrome browser.

Stop looking at the reviews and buy it.

Great for the price

It is so worth the money and it works so well with so many apps that there is just nothing bad to say. I totally recommend buying it!

The only drawback is I am not able to move from one TV to another one without having to set the Chromecast up again. There should be a way you could save at least 2 or 3 TVs to device.

Great offer and great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought Chromecast from best buy after finding a great offer that included a $20 google play credit, Google chromecast is very useful, I can broadcast anything on my phone directly to my TV including my whole screen (works with some phones) , photos , youtube videos , and music, I am using it more than the $99 apple tv that i bought last year.

Very handy device for $35

This plus Netflix or something similar can save you a lot of money without a lot of compromise. You can stream music via Pandora, YouTube, Spotify, pull up pictures from your phone, etc. I have a couple of them and have had no problem!
