great product for the money

It's ok, but it's no Apple TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For $35 it is a good deal, but if someone were to ask me what I thought the chromecast was worth I would have to say less than $50 and with the Apple TV now dropping it's price to $69, I would have to go with the Apple TV. The Chromecast has NO dedicated audio output so listening to music through the cheap device sounds terrible on my expensive big stereo. The chromecast also has no remote control so you have to pick up your laptop or cell phone everytime you want to do something with it. The positives, it does a good job mirroring google chrome and it works very well with You Tube. I just wish they made a more expensive version of the chromecast that included a digital optical output and a remote control and a better user interface, actually any user interface since the chromecast has none.
