Easy to use and setup right out of the box. Phone instantly connects to Chromecast. Streaming of Netflix and Google Play is awesome. Would love to see the ability to stream apps on your phone to your tv.

Had a few picture quality issues but not sure if this was the Chromecast or my internet bandwidth. I'd like to see more apps that can make use it. Used it a lot when first bought but not so much now. Otherwise I'm happy with it and the value is hard to beat.

I love my chrome cast. It's so convenient to watch movies and tv shows from my laptop. Once in awhile, when I turn it on, I will get a fuzzy screen so that is my only negative with this product. However, if I unplug it and plug it back in, it will work.

The chromecast is very easy to use. You just plug it in to your tv via HDMI and get started setting it up. The set up process is very quick and easy in my opinion. You basically use the apps for streaming services you already have on your device and "cast" them to your chromecast dongle wirelessly. It is very easy but I would really like more streaming options. I use netflix and vevo the most but it definitely needs more. All in all, love it! But, I love my Apple TV more because it has much more channels and things to choose from. The chromecast comes in handy when traveling, I will say that!

I have miracast on my smartphone and now I can cast anything to my TV not just Chromecast apps. So if Hulu wont play on google tv but it does on your phone then miracast it. Plus you can make your TV or display show the time and weather with really nice pictures from your own files or served up by Google.

I got this because I wanted to watch a show I'd purchased from Google Play on my TV. My PS3 doesn't have a Play app, so I got the Chromecast. LOVE it. It's SO easy to set up! My roommate and I can each watch things from our own Netflix queues without having to log into another app (on my TV or PS3). It's so versatile - I can load pages from my computer to load onto my TV. There are a ton of Android/iOS apps that work with Chromecast - I know I've only scratched the surface with the 3 or 4 apps I've used thus far. The only thing is that the Netflix interface seems a little wonky if you're used to the PS3 style of feeding you the next episode. But I haven't had any issues with connectivity.

Would get five stars if it had support from all major apps. Other than that, the chromecast is very easy to setup and use. Also if you have a supporting device, you can cast your phone's screen to the device which is useful if you want to use an app that doesn't have direct chromecast support. I purchased 2 for myself, and 2 for my family. I use it on a regular basis, and do not pay for cable.

I bought this item as an alternative to my roku box. I babysit a 2 yr old and when setting up netflix it can be cumbersome using various remotes. As long as you have the ChromeCast plugged into a USB port on your television the product will switch to the correct input. This is a huge advantage when dealing with a child that likes to push buttons. The apps are a little limited but they are or will be releasing new ones in the future. There is a lot of buzz around a google STB coming and I think the chromecast is there way of checking the market. If enough people purchase the Chromecast this will justify the creation of a more advanced STB product. For the size and price alone this product is a steal.

well I need to say android and apple are different but if this is not going to work on Apple just say it I had a lot of trouble trying to get it to work with an iPhone but works great with android phones

the device is useful to tream some computer screens to the tv. the only bad side I see is that you must have the computer on to keep watching. And there is no remote to make it independent of the PC

I purchase this device to stream my Lynda.com online lessons to my tv as this was the only device that could this from this site. I love the device so much I started streaming all my other media as well. After a while my roku 3 took a back seat to this little machine so in all, I absolutely love it.

Easy to set up, easy to use but it needs more app to support it. Right now only youtube and netflix. Hopefully apps like HBO and ESPN will support it in the future.

I purchased this to try it and I was suprised the quality of pictures it is 1080p when streaming videos. This is easy to set up compare to other similar products.

I use this only for Netflix and streaming from a Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5. I have not had connectivity issues so far. I have been using for about a month. You control the play/stop etc from you mobile device. For my needs it has been great. I did read some negative reviews, but for me it has worked great.

The Chromecast is extremely easy to set up and use. Anyone with a smartphone, tablet, or computer can control it as long as they are connected to the same wifi. After downloading the Chromecast app, it is really easy to stream netflix and other videos/pictures to your tv. Right now there aren't a lot of compatible apps, but that will change as Google just opened the SDK (software developer's kit) up to developers. This will make it much easier for app creators to add the capability of streaming to your tv through Chromecast. If you want to stream pictures or videos from your phone, check out the AllCast app by Koush. Definitely worth the $5 to be able to send media from your phone to the tv.

I dont like that you always have to cast from your phone or laptop because if you loose connection welp no tv for you. But it does have a variety of apps and is inexpensive. roku has 1 up on google

The Chromecast is the cheapest and easiest was to stream to any HDMI enabled TV or display from your phone, computer or tablet. Just connect it to Wi-Fi and stream. No real faults in this device.

this is the second Chromecast that i have purchased for my house. i use one in the living room and one on our sun porch. I have never had any issues with using it or even the setup. i would recommend this to anybody who is looking to stream Netflix, HBO, YouTube or anything else to their TV easily.

Works great with Plex, Youtube and Netflix, the reason I give 4 starts is because it doesn't work with videos from videos app or from Safari or chrome browser.

i came into best buy looking for a hdmi cable for my tablet which they didn't sell. As i walked around i bumped into this item. i had heard about it but never knew what it did. i picked it up and read about and saw it was wireless!! i was like huh!? bought it and hooked it up!! been in love ever since!!
