The chromecast was very easy to setup and use. It makes streaming. Netflix and YouTube in high def. very easy. I'm going to get another one for the basement soon!

Great product for the price. There are a few kinks google still has to work out with regards to connect-ability, ease of use, and streaming app choices (in my opinion anyways), but overall a great buy for the $$

it is great because you can view things from different sources such as phones, tablets and pcs. It reaches great image quality, no lagging. no trouble connecting, easy set up. what is not so great is that it only works with certain programs on tablets and phones; youtube, netflix, hulu. but not with the internet browser. also you have to set it up constantly if you completely turn it off. it happens in my case.

Was easy to install and set up. The price was affordable. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who likes to stream movies or TV shows from the Internet.

I purchased the Chromecast to share content between my Apple products & TV. I mainly take advantage of movie streaming & the connection is great. It was easy to install & doesn't drop the signal from my iPad. Definitely a great investment for our family.

It disconnects sometimes on its own but I'm pretty sure it's because my WiFi network isn't as strong in my bedroom. Other than that I love it! I'm able to stream anything on my smart phone, PC or tablet to my TV.

Works perfectly, is small, so no problem, you can carry ir everywhere you go, it cast videos, pictures perfectly. I would recommend this product.

I'm an avid Android user so this is perfect! I can screen cast from my phone, tablet and laptop anytime to show pictures of watch movies on a big screen. I plan on buying a few more to use with my other TVs and to take on the road while I travel for work.

I really like the concept of being able to do this on any tv with an HDMI port available. I got this because I have a TV that is not a smart TV and I don't really like the why my blu ray player's apps function so I thought this would be a great alternative. I wish there were more apps but all the major players are there (hulu, netflix, youtube, etc.) My only other complaint is that the device gets really hot so I usually won't use it for more than an hour or two because I don't want it to damage my port.

Purchased this item as a suggestion from a friend. Easy to use and set up. Able to watch Netflix anywhere in the house without a bulk dvd player or game system.

Picked up 3 of these for the house. It is a great little device if you are in the Google ecosystem. I can download and stream music and movies from Google Play and Netflix works well. Great for those "Dude! Check this out!" moments. I've found a lag when casting from a Chromebook and you are obivously limited by what you can cast. Overall I really like it for what it is. It's not a Roku or AppleTV, rather truly a screen sharing device. Now if they add Spotify and Amazon Prime movie support! Watch out!

Not a stand alone product, basically extends your computer screen to a TV or other HDMI port. Still, works well and ease of set up is good for even the technophobe.

this dongle has changed my viewing habit. it replaced the smart console on my tv, which sucked. pushing content, screen share is mostly how i watch tv now. I dont have cable. This is a must have for every house if you want to make your dumb tv, smart.

I love my chromecast. I gave it a 4 simply because the mobile setup didn't work for me so I used my laptop and now it pairs with all of my devices (even the mobile) great for bringing any tv into the smart tv age

Chromecast is essentially a mirror device and can cast over webpages, apps like HBOGO, netflix and amazon from your smartphone, tablet and laptop to your hdtv. You need a good fast internet connection though.

I have a Roku and now a Chromecast and, between the two, I'm now pretty much able to stream almost everything on my TV. I paid $29 and free shipping for the Chromecast--what a bargain! I'll probably buy another for the other one or two TVs. Sometimes, there's a bit of a challenge getting a show to stream to my TV--but that's because of website issues not the fault of the gizmo itself. It would be nice, though, if once a show is streaming, a remote could be rigged up to navigate--pause, move forward, backward, etc. rather than having to get up and go to my computer, use my tablet or phone.

I have an older TV that is not a smart TV and this solves that problem. It also works with so many different devices that multiple people in the room get to share pictures and video. It works better than I thought it would. Everyone should have one.

Spent enormous amount of time to update firmware while on USB power from TV. Not advised to use USB power from TV. Use the AC adapter for optimal performance, plus Wi-Fi extender for better internet acquisition.

This is a wonderful way to wireless connect a devises to your TV. I am challenged with new technology and this was just a plugin, download, name it and then start using it. Was watching Netflex in 8 mins. My WII player did not allow HD viewing and with the Chromecast I can enjoy HD TV directly from my cable box. I can use my cell phone to access movies and play as well as my cell phone works as the volume control for the TV. One extra bonus is that Best Buy does price matching so I picked it up the day I found out about Chromecast and bought it at the best internet price I found.

Product works as advertise, but you require fast internet speed to get the most out of this product. With slower speed, you get extremely long load times and a ton of buffering during viewing. i have increased my internet speed and have seen improvement.
