I recommend to everyone. Easy to set up takes less than 5 min and works as it says. I use netflix, and hbogo. The picture is hd I love my chromecast!!!!

Very convenient device, especially when casting from instant-casting from a computer or tablet to the TV. Also Google Play isn't always reliable on every Smart TV, so Chromecast is the most reliably way of playing movies from your account.

This product instantly turns my old flat screen into a smart TV for an insanely good price. Easy to use and set up. Could not possibly be any better

I only have rare blips where it resets itself, not that I have to enter credentials again but to the point that you lose whatever it is you were streaming... That's ok though, I shouldn't be wasting time watching stupid cat videos anyways.

Apple must learn from google to provide cost efficient products. You just can't give apple tv with $150 and no 4k.

Picked up the Chromecast on sale for $30. I use this primarily for streaming Netflix, HBO go, and the occasional YouTube video. I chose this over a roku because it is cheaper and roku isn't compatable with HBO go for Comcast Cable subscribers. The setup is easy and really fast. I was pleasantly surprised that this device works great with not only android devices but ios as well. I really enjoy using my phone as the remote as it is always handy. This is still a new device and I am excited to see what the app developers can do with it and for more app compatibility.

I'm always on the move and always take it with me. It sucks that every time I have to set it up to the Wi-Fi network and it's a lil annoying. So if it could memorize at least two networks would be nice

Great piece of hardware to use for many apps and video links. The ability to cast from your laptop, tablet, or phone is great. No more over the shoulder hovering...just cast it. Awesome.

At first when I tried to use it, it wouldn't sync from my device to the TV even though I connected the Internet, after 12 hours I almost went to return it. All I had to do is a factory reset on my router and everything worked like a charm.

Chromecast works very well with the apps that feature it as a built in option. Casting tabs on Chrome or whatever is on your phone comes in handy but doesn't always look great due to resolution differences but not much can be done about that.

It's a snap to set up and use. Very elegant solution. When more channel are available on Chromecast it will be even better. Picture quality is excellent.

Device is easily understood and setup was a snap. Future increase in applications is expected. Should be ideal for travel use due to size and simplicity.

I really like this product, I thought that because it didn't come with a remote it wouldn't be convenient to use but its actually better through the phone. Its easy to hookup and use.

The device is good. It doesn't offer as many apps as the Roku, but hopefully. this will change. Very convenient controlling the device with Ipod Touch.

The setup is simple and for the price it's hard to beat the features offered for Android users. Although it will also work with iOS, the Google Play Movies & TV functionality is notably handicapped. Lastly, I have experienced several occasions of unacceptably long buffering which results in power cycling to get it to recover . The buffering may possibly be due to my ISP and/or Router; however, I ultimately think it's due to either the Chromecast device or Google's Play Movies service. Overall, the occasional issues are overcome by the general simplicity and convenience.

I've been using Chromecast for over a year. It's works amazingly with my setup. When I cast something from my iPhone, iPad, laptop or Android device, it automatically turns on my TV and AVR. Super easy to use and a very useful for streaming.

My daughter told me we should get this though i was skeptical i said i would. She got it set up for me and told me how to use it and i found it to be a very simple operation despite having to probably upgrade services for hulu and the like.

The Chromecast was very easy to setup and configure. I did have an issue caused by connecting it to my guest network, which prevented other devices in my home from seeing it. Once I connected to my private network everything worked without issue. There are not a lot of apps that support Chromecast yet. HBO Go is my favorite to date. I'd like to see the other movie channels become available.

I find it easy to use with Hulu and my iPad, but the Hulu app is a bit buggy and Chrome on the iPad won't cast at all.

Good things come in small packages as they say. This device is really nicely built, small, portable and easy to setup. You will need WiFi for it to work and depending on your system will be fast or lag in streaming the signal. So far no issues, no lags. The Chromecast has numerous content to stream such as Hulu plus, Youtube, HBO Go, Pandora etc. I like that I can cast from my tablet, phone, laptop etc. All devices should be this simple to use.
