This product would be great if more download memory and more enchanted for higher internet connection speed. And shut down mode when disconnect from phone or tablet. Brought 4 of them.

Wonderful asset to tv show, movie, and football viewing. I do not own a smart tv or have a full cable package, therefore Chromecast has allowed me to broadcast a wide variety of shows and entertainment on the big screen.

Low cost unit that actually works very well, the image quality from Netflix ranged from very good to HD great. Set up was easy but instructions were a little lacking. There is a slight delay between my tablet to the screen, but for the most part it is not an issue. Mine came with 3 months of Netflix credit, so when subtracting cost of Netflix, this unit is insanely cheap for what it can do. Shipping from BestBuy was also without issue or hassle.

this product does what it says it will. i had a bit of trouble during the set-up process since it took several tries for the device to finally find my wireless router. but once that was done, the rest was easy. it is great for youtube, netflix, and hulu plus. streaming from the pc works fine but sometimes runs into bugs (but they said it was beta). if you want something that does what it says it will, and does it well, then this is your device.

Value for money - got a price match when I showed a competitive price from bestbuy. Easy to install and streaming from chrome pages.

The compact size is a plus and almost plug and play makes ease of use good. Makes apps easy to accesss.

I am very pleased with my Google Chromecast. Now I do not have to worry about getting out my HDMI cord if I want to watch Netflix. All I have to do is go to my Netflix app and it will come up on my tv screen. The only issue I ever had was I went to stream Netflix once and it was not registering with the chromecast. I just had a blank screen. The next day it worked fine and I have not had any other problems with it. I highly recommend it!

We got this for the second TV, for being able to put stuff up on the big screen. Pretty cool. Once I figured out how to actually get the program on my tablet, all is well. Fun toy!

The HDMI of the plug is poorly designed. It bends to easily. I know a friend who has had to buy a new one because of the way it bent out of the casing. Just be careful with it.

I works great due to the fact that it is wireless. It was somewhat difficult to set up on my WiFi, It works great on my laptop, my phone and my iPad but it doesn't work with the Surface, but I think that that is because of the fact that windows doesn't have an app for chrome. Now I have mostly used it on Netflix and a little bit on YouTube with no issue, except for sometimes it seems slow when switching from different apps, like going from Netflix to YouTube and vise versa. Overall it does exactly what the box says.

Very inexpensive and easy to set up.Just needs a few more apps and I would consider it an amazing deal!

great streamer from your phone to the TV like magic. I would recommend this to anyone. Needs more apps though and it will be perfect

Good product,. Smart phone proficiency needed, so people who are not may be happier with similar product that has a remote. Won't find that near the price these are going for..

Chromecast is amazing, got one for my wife and me, one for her cousin and his girlfriend. I use it to party stream YouTube clips, or to stream Netflix/HBO GO/MLB TV when my Xbox craps out. Streaming quality is amazing.

I love my new ChromeCast, but have found that it tends to run incredibly slowly when casting from my wife's Asus Prime. I've had better luck with casting from Chrome on my laptop.

This device just works! Plug it into an available hdmi port, connect the power cable or connect through the USB port (on some TVs) and follow the instructions to connect it to your home wireless network. Then you can begin streaming videos from YouTube and movies from Netflix right to your TV using your smartphone or tablet. Since my main TV is not a smart TV, this was the next best thing to make my TV "smart."

Besides the fact that most of the tv apps need to get some sort of cable/subscription service, some other apps come in pretty handy to watch tv, movies or play games or music.

I wanted to see my phone on the tv and the HDMI adaptor from samsung does not work with the S6 Edge. I saw that Chromecast would display your phone on tv. I tried it out and it worked great. Very happy with this.

When it works it's great. I had problems at first with keeping a connection on my Chromebook. But it seems to be better lately. I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for that.
