This is a wonderful product considering the low price I paid for it. I enjoyed showing web pages to friends from my laptop to tv.

It works well, but hangs at time. The Beta Chrome functionality is pretty bad as if I cast a tab from my browser, it almost always hangs after a few minutest. Highly unstable.

I recently bought WD 4TB from Best Buy in Macon, GA to replace my Buffalo drive that died after 1 year of use. So far I love my WD drive. It is quiet and very fast. It is also not as bulky as the Buffalo drive I had.

I wanted to replicate my computer screen on to my HDTV - within Google applications it did the job seamlessly; however when it came to Windows, the result was not flattering.

I purchased it today (Sat 7-26-15) and have not been able to put it down. It helps me to watch pictures on my TV verses watching a small screen. Wow it's just great to purchase this item and you will love it toooo

Purchased 1/10/14 Reviewed 2/10/14 I bought this to watch Netflix,Huluplus and Youtube on the big screen. It works great for all that. I'd say it was a ten regarding advertised content display capabilities. An unexpected bonus is the pretty wallpapers it displays. Hooking it up was easy. Initial set-up to home Wi-Fi was easy. The only thing I didn't expect or like was the Chromecast has to draw power from a USB port. That makes one device taking up two ports. So far that's the biggest complaint I have about it.

I bought hoping that it could do a lot more than what it can do. The fact that it can't be powered by the HDMI plug really stinks. I was also hoping for a lot more capabilities.

Cromecast works really fast, but I just have one problem with it. The mirroring function doesn't work with my samsung s3 phone.

Have not had this for very long, but so far it is bringing in a great picture and good streaming.

Easy to use. Never fails to stream my favorite shows without pausing. I would definitely recommend it to all my friends and family.

This device is easy to set up but you have to operate it from a device like a smart phone or tablet. This is not easy for some people.

It's worth it the price , easy to set up and to stream . The quality is good and I'm really impress of how easy it is to connect it

I see this is getting pretty good reviews, and I think the idea of it is great. But it's been a little spotty for me so far. I think I need to get some help with setting it up.

Great little gizmo. My kids love to play the games and watch movies/videos that they could only watch on the internet. They love the fact that their Galaxy Tablets interact with the TV for multiplayer games too.

I bought one for Christmas mainly to stream Netflix. I was amazed at how quick it was to stream media. Wasn't clunky or slow and no mid stream video buffering. I was actually in the market for a Apple TV device, but for the money I gave this a shot. I was so impressed I went out and bought another one. I'm hoping they add more channels soon and make it so you can stream internet browser from ios device like you can with other devices.

I cannot say how much I enjoy having these available. There are some applications that I wish providers would adapt to, for instance I have directv and a genie and genie go, however at this time there is no way to port the video to the chromecast at this time. The applications that are available that I use are great, HBOGO, Netflix and then google play all work flawlessly. For someone that has a smart tv that has the applications I still find it easier and faster to use my tablet and/or phone to cast.

Great product when it's working accept for the fact it gets too hot and when trying to reload takes too long. You never know when it's not going to work and when it doesn't work you have to unplug it for atleast 5 minutes in order for it to work. Overall it's great for the price but not when it's not working. It tells you no signal to connect to product when connection shows its strong and you have to figure it out by unplugging it.

You used to have to have a big game system to watch netflix on your tv. Or a roku box. Chromecast lets you stream netflix and hulu from your tablet or phone, and then ANY website on a computer. Really useful, easy to set up and definitely worth more than $35. While netflix and youtube streaming overall are great, streaming other videos through your computer is iffy often. ComedyCentral.com or similar, video can barely load and play.

Love to price and use of this iteem. Homerun Guys. Only needs more apps and it will be 10 out of 10.

I got this as I wanted to screen share from my tablet or phone. I have a mixture of PC Laptop, iOS Phone and Tablets, and Android phones in my house. The ChromeCast is easy to setup and it just works. Allows streaming of Netflix from my tablet or phone to the primary TV which is older and does not have built in Internet functionality. Super easy to use and when not in use displays HD images from the internet.
