I got a great deal on this Chromecast. I haven't hooked it up yet but it will go great in my guest room with the new TV that has no streaming box service hooked up to it yet.

The Chromecast is easy to set up and easy to use. If you have a wi-fi network at home, you just plug it in the HDMI slot in your TV and you are good to go. You can run apps from your tablet or cast your Chrome Internet Browser to your TV. I have an AppleTV, but I prefer the Chromecast.

It is good for seniors people preferred to watch movies or short clips on the big screen instead concentrate to watch on small Mobil devices as well as iPad iPhone etc...

I'm not sure if it's my speed or Comcast is slow? Sometimes it blocks. However in general I like it, now I have a broader option o national and international programs to watch!!

Chromecast is out for a while now, so really there is nothing to add to the review except that it has lot more apps now and does make life lot easier if you use Chrome a lot and watch movies/games on your laptop.

This is a great product if you want to stream to a non-smart tv. It was really easy to setup and the picture quality is amazing.

This is, by far, the best streaming device I've used yet. I have an XBOX, a smart TV, and a blu-ray player that streams a variety of web apps, but I always use my Chromecast. The quality is excellent, and I can stream from my computer, phone, or tablet. I love, love, love it. Plus I love that I can easily move it back and forth from my living room or bedroom. I recommend using the setup since it's not extremely intuitive. I also recommend leaving it plugged in to the wall adapter all the time.

I love my Chromecast. Great for sending things like Netflix, Youtube, or music to your TV. For the price, you can't beat it.

Overall happy with my product. I can watch my vudu and iTune movies. Easy to set up. Good price.

Nice to have all the apps my smart tv doesn't right on my tablet and send straight to the screen. Also very cool to be able to cast my phone or tablet screen for photo or video sharing. Great deal for the money

I have been hoping for a long time to find a way to stream web albums of my pictures at Google+ and thought this Google device might do just that. However, at this time it only had two options for streaming. Netflix and YouTube. We have Netflix and it worked flawlessly for that! I'm hoping I will be able to use it in vacation condos in the future for Netlix and other streaming media. It requires a strong Wi-Fi signal to work well.

The product is as advertised. Hopefully more streaming web portals come on line with the chromecast network. You can still do tabbed viewing but tabbed is not quite as good as straight chromecasting from a chromecast network. Youtube and, Netflix are examples of services that have been optimized for chromecast. While other video streaming services may not be. As I said, you can still watch it, however it may be a little hitchy.

Love this product. Excellent cheap streaming device for a bedroom or other room that you don't use often but would like to watch Netflix on. There are probably better options for full-featured streaming boxes out there, but that is not what this is trying to be. It does what is claims, and it works great. At $35, you won't be disappointed.

I decide to purchase a second device for my 2nd tv in the house because my kids love to see kids show on youtube and rather than fighting with the kids with this type of situation, I have no choice to get it.

This device is Great, The wife uses the computer with Chrome to search for and find TV shows on Fox, ABC, NBC then uses the cast button to watch TV in the living room. Computer: Arch Linux with Chrome browser

Pretty good overall, but you need a good wifi connection or else there will be lag and delays. Still has potential for better features, depending on what Google will do.

glad i found this is the small gadet i was looking for my needs and fits my budget.the first one i brought seems to over heat after a short 15 mins.return and got a replacement.everything seems to work well now.

I would recommend this product if you are not exclusive to Apple. Overall it works well and have not encountered any problems.

This gadget is amazing. I originally bought a roku which was more expensive. The roku does have more chanels but chanels that I dont use. The chrome cast allows me to essentially view my videos netflix hbo go google play music pretty much what I want to watch on the big screen. I love that I can mirror my phone/tablet screen onto the big screen. It really is inexpensive for the features it has.
