Received Chromecast as a gift and liked it so much, I bought two more. Plug and play for the most part, and the price was right. Best Buy even matched a competitor's price and did so without me asking them to.

I haven't tried to make it work on the Kindle Fire HDX because Chromecast isn't in the Amazon app store. I'm guessing I can find it in the unsupported 3rd party downloads. The instructions to load and use are great. No problems at all. There is latency, so not useful for using TV as a monitor, but if you start a Netflix movie and let it play in the laptop, its casted on the TV without any problems. At $30, it's a great deal.

Even if you have a smart TV, a Google Chromecast would be a nice thing to buy. You can use your phone to remote-control it, and sometimes the included apps are more and better that what a smart TV provides.

should make a great paperweight. Not much use At my house. Have fourth-generation iPod that do not have a new operating system that will not work. Have not found a workaround That will take care of the problem. I hope android works out better than this i products that just don't work. Two stars because I did find it on my computer so there is some functionality just nothing as advertised. Hope you had better luck!

My family enjoys being able to send internet video's and streaming tv shows to our older HDMI equipped TV. I just wish our TV would connect and disconnect more quickly.

I set this up mainly because Im a freak for electronics... it was the only thing I didn't have.... I didn't realize till after I bought it that if you already have smart devices in your apt or house that you don't really need this... It is a very cheap way to access all of your STUFF that you have on your devices and send to your tv tho... vids movies etc... for those who don't have smart devices then I would say ITS PERFECT

This device works perfectly and casts all my favorite things straight to my tv even will turn it on when you are ready to start casting. I have never had any issues and I can't wait to get one for all my tv's!

Chromecast is easy and great to use. I can watch YouTube videos and other videos from other apps on my TV now. I love it!

An excellent device given the price, value will only increase as more apps are released. Setup was easy via smartphone and the picture and sound are great! There's occasional lag when switching playback from your controller to Chromecast, but usually there are no issues. Once I set up HDMI-CEC, all I have to do is connect a device to Chromecast and the home theater powers itself up and switches to the right inputs by itself.

This is a great tool to use if your tablet device does not allow for casting to your smart TV. It also has many other useful apps however most of these are already duplicated on my smart TV. Would recommend.

You cant beat chromecast for the price. some may not like it because you will need to use your phone or tablet as a controller but i find it simple and easy to use. while the selection of apps is not as great as roku it has all the apps i really need ( Plex - hulu plus - netflix - and pandora plus a few others but for the most part i mainly stick to what i the main apps.. and for the price this little stick cannot be beat.. simple to setup likes about 3 minutes and your off streaming..

An excellent, easy to use product that interfaces easily with my phone and home computers. I take it with me when I travel, and it allows me to simply use my phone as my media device with any television.

Chromecast is a must have. especially if you own an android phone or tablet. easy to use and for the price you cant go wrong.

Initially I encountered some difficuties for setting up. However, your techies helped me to set up on my iPad. Now I enjoy streaming a lot. Thanks, you Geek guy who helped me at the Cerritos Best Buy store!!!

Good for displaying any internet material to your big screen. However desktop and streaming downloaded movies to your devices I have yet to master if it is even possible.

This was a great find! Much more affordable than buying a cable to connect my laptop to my television. The great advantage is that it works with other devices as well.

Great value for what you get. Very easy to setup and install. Takes up much less room than a set top box. Just plug and play.

get decent resolution, little bit jerky at times but not bad on at least medium. during Oscars they didn't have most best picture films available though. all in all good

Fairly easy to install, great product for streaming photos, movies to your TV thru your ipad or iphone. Super easy to use

This is the second Chromecast I've purchased. It's nice to be watching a show on Netflix that I'm casting to one device, pause the show, and switch it to the other device and resume watching it in the other room.
