Requires a strong wi-fi connection for best results. I have had it for less than 1 month and have had to re-boot numerous times. Not sure why. When I use it it is great.

We have this hooked up to our television in the bedroom. Cost effective way to stream to the internet without buying a smart television. So easy to use our phones to stream the internet right onto the television without needing to have the HDMI cord.

For $35,you can't go wrong. An easy to use/set-up device for viewing various content on your TV set/monitor. Some may be disappointed w/the limited choices of castable content,but,surely this will improve over time. If you're looking for the perfect stocking stuffer this holiday season,this is the one sure bet that will please all.

At $35 this is the best solution for watching Netflix or Youtube on a non smart TV. It is easy to set up and works great

I think its great for the price. Is not a transmiter like apple tv or Roku but is very easy to install in your tv and very easy to use with your chrome navigator. Works excellent with youtube and netflix, but if you are seeing another kind of video or presentation you notice a delay in what is in the computer and what is in the tv

Works well, and quietly. Now I can watch HBO on the GO and NETFLIX on my older model Television ( none wifi). Affordable!

We have used the Chromecast for the last couple months and had no problems. I know some people enjoy having a separate remote, but I actually enjoy using my smartphone.

Love it when technology makes it easier. To be able to stream without having to buy multiple DVD streaming players is so nice. Now I'm not stuck in one room to watch videos. So convenient and space saving.

This is a great device for home use. Because the chromecast and whatever device you have it linked with needs to be on the same WiFi its not good to take out and about.

The device works fine, it "Casts" from our android and apple devices great. the "Cast Screen" feature does not work with my Ipad. other than that, its an awesome device

I got one for my mom & sister. They can use their smart phone and don't have to go to too much trouble to see what they want.

works great most of the time but not sure why i have signal lost for a few sec sometimes........ I use it mostly to mirror my laptop screen to my Tv and look at movies free online. it works great as youtube music video DJ........my list is playing right now as i type this review ...... Yes i think it works but needs a lil more work and coming from google i think it will only get better simple and easy to setup.......

Have quite a few pictures and videos on my phone, so this devise makes it very convenient to view and show them on my tv!

We use this to live stream our church service when we cannot attend. This device lets us cast the live-stream from our tablet onto our 55 inch TV. We love it! Plus, we can watch netflix etc on our TV now!

This is a great little device for home networks to display your browser on your television. Its integration with Netflix and Hulu and the Chrome browser itself are all very useful. It can be difficult to set up with a secure network however, because if you are not the one who set up your home network and cannot authorize new devices, it won't allow you to add it and use it. That's really the only drawback I've noticed.

If you're looking for a good streaming get device then this is it. Make sure you have a stable Internet connection and frequently use apps sure as Google play though.

I would have liked that it can mirror my android. I donwloaded few mirror programs but they do not work well and are slow. Regarding casting movies, it is perfect.
