I am using this to youtube, netflix video to TV for my kid. Highly recommended. But again max resolution without lagging is 720P. it's good for online vid to TV purpose.

Chromecast can be an incredibly versatile product, especially when yo use the casting Chrome tabs feature, which allows you to mirror whatever is on a specific tab on Chrome to your TV. This allows you to watch content from CBS.com, and most other websites with video. Only wish it was compatible with Amazon Instant Video, and you could use the casting tabs feature with the mobile versions of Chrome, so that you could cast tabs from your iPad or iPhone. But for $35, this can't be beat.

This chromecast sure is a chromecast. Its not chrome but it casts like a chrome fishing rod. It casts like a chrome fishing rod that lures in the shiniest, most chromed out steelhead trout. No doubt.

This is a great inexpensive streaming device that enables mirroring from devices without requiring a cable connection. You can use this on any TV without cable.

Have a Roku and this is a good addition. Use it to stream media from the internet or phone to the tv. Excellent purchase.

I purchased the Chromcast media player because I had content on my browser that I wanted to be able to show on my TV. It does a great job of doing that. Installation went smoothly and was easy. I am able to use my Chrome browser on my PC to show content on my TV. It would be a nice addition to be able to do the same thing from my tablet or phone but I knew when i purchased it that that functionality wasn't there.

The only down side to the product is the fact that there are several broadcast company's that will not allow streaming on chromecast. The item itself works fine.

Inexpensive, easy, and fun gift. Google Chromecast makes it easy to both screen share (from iPhone, iPad, other smart devices) and "cast" from services like Netflix.

The Google Chromecast is great! It was a gift. The only problem is it won't stream media players from the computer. We still have to connect the laptop using a cord.

Value excellent, easy to use for Netflix or showing Gpa pix on the big screen

It's really nice to be able to view things on a big screen. You do need to know the limitation of the product and there are some connection issue once in awhile.

I really like this small tiny gadget. It's better than my Apple TV and a lot more cheaper. It even has more functionality than my Apple TV. A must have if you like connecting your laptop of phone to TV.

You can stream anything from your android phone or pc to ur big screen tv..no lag at all!

I'm still trying to figure some things out, but it is a good idea at a reasonable price. Some things are a little hard to figure out but give me time and I will.

great for youtube and streaming hulu videos but very limited on apps available. hopefully, upgrades are in the near future

Casting is accepted on so many platforms and allows me the freedom to watch what I want when I want to. Great product!

The Chromecast is worth its weight in gold! If you're traveling anywhere always bring one of these and you will never experience the harsh conditions of a boring cable show at a hotel or parents house!

Seems to work better when you cast tabs from chrome on your phone. The other apps like HBO GO and Pandora work great.

Works great. Needs more apps to be supported. I have full movies in mp4 format on my phone and computer but can figure a way to play them through caster because the supported applications don't recognize the files. Only other gripe would be that you can cast chrome tsbs from your computer but not your phone. If I'm mistaken and there are ways to do what I mentioned above please reply to this post and let me know.

This product has some minor issues stating connected at times and overheats quickly. The product must be kept plugged in.
