I like the fact that I can just walk in my home and use my phone to start streaming my movies and shows to my tv without any type of wired connection.

I purchased this to watch Netflix in my bedroom. The picture quality is good. It's very portable to move to other TV's. However, I do not like that I have to have some kind of smart phone or tablet to operate it. In hind sight, I should have just bought a smart blu ray player that can be operated as a stand alone.

I absolutely love my Chromecast! It's one of the best items I have ever purchased. I'm not very technically inclined and it was easy to install even for me. I highly recommend this product.

Works as expected. Very easy to set up and easy to use. Wish, there would be more apps that work with this.

I bought this item to us on an old tv that i have in the basement. I don't have a Directtv box down there so it was consigned to watching DVDs. This makes the tv much more useful/enjoyable. Very easy to use and works great. Just hope they include Prime soon.

Its an amazind product I love it. I dont need a smart tv to stresm netflix or youtube and its extrmely portable.

Instead of coming built in with apps, you can cast certain apps or programs to your TV through this device. It has come in very handy for Netflix so far.

We have an Apple TV in our living room. We wanted to enjoy the same type of TV access in the bedroom. Decided to try the Chromecast since it was less than half the price. Works great! I would prefer it to work alone. You have to access the viewing through a computer, tablet or your smart phone. However, my spouse is very pleased with it. In fact he prefers Chromecast to the Apple TV.

I am a first time user. The chromecast was recommended by friends. The first time I used it I thought how nice to stream things through the TV and not have to watch on a laptop. I'm hooked.

good and easy for Netflix. A little more required for other apps to show on tv. There's a power source required (elec or USB on tv-wasn't expecting that.

The google chromecast is great for getting content from your small screen to your big screen! Works with iOS devices and android alike. Netflix, Youtube, Pandora, WatchESPN and many more.

I'm enjoying the chromecast, but it would be better if it came with a remote and you didn't need to use your phone or laptop to connect with Netflix

more apps are supported now, but I have roku too, which has way more apps supported and like the fact that roku provided remote with the stick. Liked it until roku stick was not an option

Chromecast makes it easy to watch movies and videos stored on my tablet on my TV. Only concern is sometimes the signal drops and you have to reload.

My Chromecast has changed the way I watch Youtube and Netflix. Just press a button on my phone and my TV turns on, changes to the right input and plays the clip I was looking at. But my phone is just a remote, so it doesn't kill my phone battery. I can also send tabs from my desktop browser right to the TV. Great video quality. Revolutionary product. You must have one!

I wanted to be able to stream from my laptop to my tv, but was looking for the most economical way. This was easy to set up and very clear instructions on how to work it. Watching had some lag and there was very definite picture definition lost, but could not really be disappointed for the price. I'm hoping that as Google continues to upgrade the picture quality will continue to improve.

Purchase Google TV for one of my older tv, the rest have wireless and apps. It is great with Google play, just watch the Interview, tablet stream to TV.

Chromecast is a great, inexpensive tool to display content on a television, but it's not the answer to everything. Setup was mostly easy on the first network but took some tweaking on the second network. The lack of "apps" is made up for with the ability to stream off a Chrome browser tab, opening up many possibilities. Video quality has been good. I'm just waiting for more apps to appear.

Very good!, we wanted to cut back on our out out going expenses, with this I cut my Comcast bill $60. Very good investment! Comcast just got to be repeats, and this way I pick and choose!

Love everything about it but stinks it has to be plugged in the whole time. Its not the worst thing ever but something rechargeable would of been sweet.
