When this works, it is awesome! As soon as I start watching something on Netflix, youTube or even a video through the Chrome browser, I can simply "Cast" it onto my TV. It's simple and works great unless, the Chromecast can't be found which unfortunately happens more often than I'd like. It's very reasonable priced so, I feel like it's worth it and I can use it from any device I own.

I use this product constantly. II have all of my devices connected to my televisions in my home. This is a great alternative to cable television.l

Chromecast is useful if you want to cast quickly from your phone. But you have to download stuff like netflix.

It's very easy to use and it gave my old TV the capabilities of a new TV. I mostly use it to stream Netflix.

i finally decided to buy this product, and man was it worth it. i watch all my shows on my phone, for free, an now i just stream them directly to my tv, and my surround sound system.

I gave one each to my kids for Christmas. My daughter is in College and uses it instead of cable. My son loves to watch u-tube videos on the TV instead of the little screne on his phone.

This was easy to set up and get going. Google has this locked down so there are not many apps out there. Unless Google opens this device up to independent developers this will fade in the background. I came across this video of an app that works with Chromecast but is not available because Google has it locked down!

The Chromecast froze when I left it plugged to the TV overnight. And it doesn't show Tennis Channel. Other than that, well worth the money spent!

Best purchase you can make for your barebones tvs!! If only it broadcasts Amazon prime!! Would be perfect. But still a great buy for all you youtubers, hbo go, Netflix, and Hulu lovers!

For the money, you really can't go wrong. Google seems to continue updating its capabilities, and everytime its capacities go up. for 35 bucks (or 30 on sale) you won't be disappointed.

i was very hesitant about purchasing this, seemed too good to be true and there had to be a catch. I decided to take the chance after reading the reviews and have not regretted it yet.

If you don't have a smart TV, and your thinking about getting one, consider buying this instead. You can save a ton of money to do most of the things your going to want your smart TV to do.

The Chromecast is super cool. It's not as easy to set up as I thought, but once you get it up & running & have a strong internet speed, it's awesome.

Moving screen to large TV from laptop is a must for many reasons, Google Chromecast makes this possible for anything in a Chrome browser window. Actiontec, Microsoft and more make similar devices that allow a screencast from most laptops but without extras like Netflix. Works every situation I tried.

Average tech user and found this easy to install and use. I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend it. The one issue I've found is that the item gets hot if on for a long time (whether it is being used or not). I have to remember to disconnect when not in use. Despite that, still happy with it.

Best to use to stream movies with just basic cable stations. Attach chromecast and you can stream all the movies you want for just a low monthly fee.
