I purchased 2 of these and loved the option of the optical and digital inputs. It made connecting my duel monitors much easier. They display really clearly with good color.

This is a great little device that just works. It's simple and easy to install and use. I use a lot of content apps on my android phone with it but it works well with my iPad too. It made my 5 year old TV feel like new! It's great to be able to stream from so many different apps. Anyone with an open HDMI port and decent WiFi at home should have one of these.

I should have done better research. I was just looking for free TV (news, sports, sitcoms - basic stuff). However, it seems to give you whatever is available via Yahoo videos and other internet streaming programming. I guess I thought it might be like a DVD antenna without the antenna. My fault - should have researched it more. You will probably have a better experience than I though. Moral of the story: Always do your homework

This device is perfect for Netflix/Hulu lovers and more for those that don't need all the bells and whistles of more expensive products.

There are an increasing number of apps that will work with chrome cast. I mostly use it for movies (HBO Go, Starz, Encore) and youtube videos. Since they directly cast on it, the quality is excellent. Also works with Pandora. I bought my second unit recently, but for some reason the firmware (which updates automatically) is older than my one-year old unit.

Works exactly how they portray in commercials. It was easy to set up on both my laptop and mobile. I like the fact that it displays everything clearly on my TV no matter if it is from my laptop or mobile. Even though my TV is a smart TV and I have Netflix and Hulu and Amazon Instant Video, I like that I can go to HBO GO on my laptop and watch it on my TV. That is just one example but the benefit of having this is nice.

First I must admit I needed to read the details more closely prior to purchasing this item. I purchased this to stream any video / audio from my laptop to my home theater system but this device is limited to only certain applications such as Netflix, etc. I observe red no capabilities beyond most standard DVD / BlueRay players or PlayStation.

I bought this for my father because he doesn't have a smart TV. Takes a little work for him to get used to it but overall it's pretty cool

This is actually the third chromecast I've purchased, the first was for my dad the second for my mom and they were so impressed with it that I had to get one for myself!!

The Chromecast is awesome. We cut the cord on cable and got Netflix months ago. It 's easy to use and extremely convenient. I'm going to go back and grab another very soon.

This thing will let you interface with your TV in a wonderful way using your tablets and phones and other devices. This is my second purchase I will recommend you buy thia

This easy to install device is marvelous. Now I can watch my favorite internet movies on my TV. Instructional videos are even easier to follow. It deserves a 5 star rating!

Chromecast device is a breeze to set up. It doesn't have every streaming service hooked up to it yet, but the options it has are solid. Casting YouTube videos is great fun.

My chromecast is good but could be better if it had dual channels. I use 5.4ghz channel since it streams fast. But chromecast is okay.

Chromecast doesn't have the features of a Roku or an Apple TV, but if you are simply looking to mirror video from a device to your TV, this is absolutely the way to go!

Not bad for straming through Utube However, need some improvment for instance, stream everything from iphone. Not just few application.

Love the ease of use, setup experience and that my tv recognizes when I start casting and automatically switches to the HDMI port. There are features that I miss after using the Roku for so long, most notably the auto-play feature with Netflix. The Roku would play the next episode in a series for binge watching.... The Chromecast does not have that feature.

In the day and age we live in, everything is done on a smartphone! This gadget allows you to do connect what you do on a bigger screen and others can enjoy it as well!
