The Chromecast is easily installed and easy to set up. I enjoy being able to watch YouTube videos directly on the television from my phone. I also have a AppleTV and bought this for my family room tv. I have not used it that much but have enjoyed the time I have spent using it.

Many options to cast and makes streaming videos very easy. Very user friendly and portable.

The idea of Chromecast is great, being able to show videos from your phone/computer on a larger tv screen...too bad many programs don't have the options to sync. I have also had many issues getting it to connect to wifi and actually get it to sync with computer. When it works its great...but an HDMI cord is faster many times.

I have both the roku and chromecast abd I love them both. The chromecast is cool and easy to use, but is lacking in channel options its great for netflix and hulu, and of course google play movies and tv shows but that's really it.

I am so extremely happy with this product it allows me to watch shows from my computer and ipad on my large tv screen, i absolutely recommend it to others too!!!!#

I waited long for a product like this. I no longer have to install hard drives and move them from TV to Tv or buy smart tv's hoping they had netflix. I now have the power to cast from my phone, PC or tablet to any HDMI enabled tv and most tv's today have more than 1 HDMI port. This will not be able to cast any Amazon stuff as Amazon views google as a competitor and refuses to play ball...their loss anyway.

Works good with most apps. Watching movies has a few skips while streaming which can be annoying sometimes. It's fine for the price.

Love how easy it is to use and the ability to watch college games being streamed or TV shows, movies, etc. Downside - If have too many devices on network, Chromecast will have trouble streaming. Also, they need to add the ability to secure the device (password or something) so it can't be tampered with if using in business environment such as school.

This little device allows me to stream Netflix in my little work-out room. It is so helpful because I have only a standard DVD player hooked up to the TV in this room, and therefore, cannot access Netflix. This little device cost about $30 and plugs right into the TV. Set-up is a breeze and works off of the wifi signal in your home. I have had no problems with this yet and I would recommend without reservations.

Great device and idea. Unfortunately, the number of apps supported right now is limited, and the ones that are supported I already have them on my smart TV. Casting a tab from Chrome doesn't work as well as the Air Play between my MacBook Air and Apple TV. The device has potential, but as of now, it just stays plugged in the back of my TV, with no use.

I love my ChromeCast. Very easy to use, view any webpage on your TV, watch YouTube, etc. Only problem I have had is interference on other HDMI inputs which I am attributing to the ChromeCast power cord being on said HDMI cords. Probably not a problem if you have shielded cables. Easy solution is better cable management on my part.

Great starter product for someone who wants an introduction to internet on tv. It has several downfalls such as limited choices of what to stream and that it has to stream from computer phone or tablet as opposed to directly from the device. Its positives include that it is hidden (plugs in nicely behind the tv) and it was Extremely easy to set up !!

Google Chrome solved my small screen problem. I can now project what ever am doing on small screen to the big screen. Great value for your money!!. I give it 5 stars

The chrome cast is overall good but there glitches to it, but if you can over look those glitches sometimes then its a great buy.

First time buyer. Satisfied with the ability to cast from android devices. Would like it more if it supports apple devices as well.

For some reason it was difficult to set up on my network. But now that it is ready to go I can watch anything on my tv. ANYTHING

I haven't had a cable subscription for many years now and have always used an old laptop or my Wii to watch content from Netflix/Hulu/YouTube. Chromecast makes that so much easier. Selecting content to view from a phone is infinitely easier than it is from a TV remote, plus I always have my phone with me and I don't need to setup my laptop or turn on my Wii. I hope they get more apps integrated with Chromecast soon!

Inexpensive way to stream Netflix. Very easy to set up. Hides perfectly no wireing cables ect. I see how it would work well with google products. I use primarily apple products so cannot compare to apple tv. I use this on a bedroom tv , not primary theatre so does well for my needs.

Simply there is nothing like it. It is an inexpensive way to turn any HDMI port to a Smart TV. And works with any Android device. All you need is a WiFi connection.
