The Google Chromecast is a great little device. Once it's up and running, streaming Netflix, YouTube, Google Play Music & Movies is a click away from any one of multiple devices around the house. You can even switch between playing a YouTube video from your phone, to showing a Chrome browser tab from your laptop and back in seconds.

Easy to connect. And works great for streaming from our iPad.

Small, portable and good price. The only thing I don't like, it doesn't come with usb charger. Instead, it need to be plugged in.

It helps when you want to stream all your cellphones but it doesn't work with all the apps

I would recommend so you can watch or place your tablet or phone screen on your television to watch movies or photos even music

The phone app made using the device easy. Netflix was a bit jumpy at times that's why only 4 stars. Fb and photos broadcast nicely

Overall, the chormecast does exactly what I want it to do. It projects my iphone, tablet and laptop onto a TV and it even works with a projetor! It is worth the price.

One of the best purchases I've made! Easy to set up and use. Because of its simplicity and ability to stream from multiple apps I'm considering canceling my cable service.

I totally love the idea of Google Chromecast! I use it to cast shows from my iPod to my TV and it is SO much more convenient that using an HDMI cord! I've had some problems with Netflix randomly not being able to cast though, which can be SO frustrating. I'm honestly not sure if this is a problem with my iPod, which is older, or the Chromecast!

Impeccable package contents. Very simple to install. Ideally, you will have an available USB port, to avoid adding a power cable. I just wish I could cast more applications from my iphone. However, it is great to cast from a laptop; be aware: not compatible with Windows XP.

It's ok. I have bad Internet service so at times it dosnt work right. I can't give it a good rating until I have good service.

I am very pleased with the ease of use and how it connects all of our devices to the TV. We primarily use it for Netflix (using MacBook Pro, HP laptop, iPad and cell phones) and playing music from our cell phones (both Android and iPhone). Works seamlessly with all of our devices. We liked it so much we purchased 3 for our house (1 for the Travel Trailer) and I will be getting more for Xmas gifts for the family.

I bought Chromecast because my cable is pretty basic. There is a lot of variety available with Chromecast, and I got a $20 credit for google play with my purchase!

This is a great tool and for $35 bucks is a no brainier. Just watch out. This doesn't work as the Apple TV, you will not be able to see your phone or tablet's screen in the TV. This will only allow you to watch Netflix, Youtube and Google play movies and music. Still, for the price is a really good deal. I just hope that more services are on the way.

I was hoping to use this both at home and when I travel, but it is a bit too complicated for me to figure out how to use in hotels

This is definitely a useful, little gizmo. It's much better to watch Netflix from your tablet piped to your TV through this HDMI dongle because you get to bypass the slow smart TV processor and avoid frozen images, etc. You can't however send all images from your laptop or tablet unless they have a specific Chromecast app. I imagine more and more apps will make for higher compatibility. Very cool nonetheless.

Have not used it very much yet. Will wait till College football season and being able to see my team on the big screen ob ESPN3

Several of my friends think this is a great item, but I haven't had much luck with it. It frequently drops the connection in the middle of a program; it doesn't have access to CBS AllAccess, which is something I particularly wanted; and if I mirror the CBS site from my phone, it loses the sound. The last straw was when my Chromcast "disappeared" and couldn't be found again. I gave up and went with a Roku instead.
