using this small device I get rid of the HDMI cable and able to cast the videos from my mobile device. useful one.

I love my Chrome Casts!! This is my third one. I put it on every TV in our house. With more and more apps added, it is great to watch your favorite content on your TV! You can even download a Chrome extension and stream a tab from your laptop. Very cool!

The only problem is sometimes it freezes and won't cast. I reload whatever application and try again and it works.

Got a deal on it for $25. My second one and it works great with my Samsung TV and iPhone. Great lower cost alternative to other devices like Apple TV.

Hard to setup. Not much app support. But comes handy when casting you tube etc.

Had trouble with Netflix loading and didn't want to purchase anymore items (router, modem, whatever you might need) to be able to use it. I'm technically challenged and my son mentioned this to me and told me to purchase this item and I wouldn't have to deal with the loading problems anymore. He set it up for me and now everything works like a charm. The pricepoint is great too!

Wish it had it's own UI instead of relying on using a smartphone for all uses. Including apps. But it's super useful if you use a laptop with chrome.

I bought this because I wanted to watch youtube videos on my t.v. This is much easier to do on chromecast than with your blueray. My only complaint is that the chromecast doesn't always keep up with my phone. The picture freezes or gets blurry on my t.v. but remains clear and continues to play on my phone. I tried moving my phone closer to the chromecast as suggested and it doesn't help.

Is an excellent source to use if you don"t have an smart TV, you can watch many movies from different web sites, easy to use no complicated at all.

easy to use and works well & set up was really simple

I had seen this product reviewed on some of my favorite tech shows a while back and waffled on getting it. My wife told me about a recent sale at Best Buy for it and so we went for it. Can't imagine life without it now. It does more than just stream apps like Netflix to the tv, you can also cast up your Chrome tab to surf the web up to your tv! Great gadget! Another win for Google!

This item was so simple to plug and play, thought I had made a mistake. Turned on my TV and bingo too cool, Love it.

If you don't have smart tv, smart bluray player, or cable this is definitely a must have. Very affordable and useful.

I purchased this because I don't want to have the monthly cost of satellite or cable. It is fantastic because I get to choose what I watch and when. It was a breeze to set up and I can get a ton of content including streaming from my netflix account.

With all the new apps for the Google Chromecast, this product gives you a lot of great streaming options. We love it in our house!! Easy to use too.

I love it, it was the perfect thing to have while the World Cup was taking place. There are a bunch of apps that are offering Casting/ streaming your cable subscriptions on the chromecat (HBO GO, ESON..etc) You can't cast chrome from your iOS devices unfortunately, but I believe things will come in time, and I can't wait.

Chromecast has transformed how I watch videos and movies. It's so convenient! I plan on getting one for my parents as well as my boyfriend's parents!
