Thus works grat off NetFlix, etc. There are no wires when using a laptop and you can leave it plugged in. Took a little time to figure out the order of using connection to switch on the chrome cast but not a big deal. Great return for small investment!

Casting from my mobile devices is AWESOME and so easy. I use Hulu and Netflix often and with the Chromecast, I'm considering getting rid of my cable. I experienced some lag when casting from Google Chrome on my pc because my browser's performance comes into play but I typically browse from apps on my mobile devices.

good item to have and if you dont want to run an HDMI cable thru out the house, this item will make it easier.. the installation was very easy too..

chromecast is great- this newer model seems improved. casting automatcally changes to HDMI or turns on the tv - a new feature to this model

Very great value for your money! at $35 you can't go wrong at all, This is a beta product and it's being improved at a relatively fast rate, and also, so many people own this, that if you can't figure something out on it, a simple google about your issue, and you'll more than likely find a solution already posted online.

Better than Roku Stick, I highly recommend it! Won't freeze like roku stick and you can control everything through android, iphone or windows 8.

I was hesitant at first and did a lot of research. I wish it could mirror my phone but it doesn't do that yet. But for $35 bucks, how could I go wrong. I plugged it in and it walked me through a very simple setup. I use it all the time. A good product that's going to get better as new apps are announced. I love the way it works playing my music library from my phone to my tv

I setup chromecast easily within 5 mins. The quality of YOU-TUBE vidoes is amazing. I used to watch You-tube via Wii console -it used to be slow and streaming/buffering issue. With chromecast - I have not seen any problems. Everything works like a charm. I have been able to cast my Chrome browser tab to TV and watch online videos of some tutorials as well. KUDOS to GOOGLE.

The chrome because I was proud of movies and training thing from your phone I would recommend it to anybody not pass for me to give it as well

I was surprised when I can cast from any TAB into Chrome browser. Very realiable . Using Netflix app from iphone and ipad worked very well.

My husband got this and he uses it all the time. Its nice because i can watch all of my favorite movies in my bed so that makes everything nice.

If you have a smart tv you can probably do netflix and youtube without this. However it works great if willing to download a couple of apps. Got it to display my computer screen on the large TV for my visually impaired father-in-law. That's not its primary design, though. Figured out how to duplicate computer screen, but it was useless to send videos from my computer to TV. What it IS good at is streaming Netflix & other stuff from your router to HDMI TV.
