good item to have and if you dont want to run an HDMI cable thru out the house, this item will make it easier.. the installation was very easy too..

I have both android and apple devices. First purchased Apple TV but returned for Google Chromecast as both devices can be used with Chromecast

Casting from my mobile devices is AWESOME and so easy. I use Hulu and Netflix often and with the Chromecast, I'm considering getting rid of my cable. I experienced some lag when casting from Google Chrome on my pc because my browser's performance comes into play but I typically browse from apps on my mobile devices.

I bought this for my grandchildren as they like to watch cartoons. The ability to watch movies that are included and from Google Play is great.

I was hesitant at first and did a lot of research. I wish it could mirror my phone but it doesn't do that yet. But for $35 bucks, how could I go wrong. I plugged it in and it walked me through a very simple setup. I use it all the time. A good product that's going to get better as new apps are announced. I love the way it works playing my music library from my phone to my tv

I setup chromecast easily within 5 mins. The quality of YOU-TUBE vidoes is amazing. I used to watch You-tube via Wii console -it used to be slow and streaming/buffering issue. With chromecast - I have not seen any problems. Everything works like a charm. I have been able to cast my Chrome browser tab to TV and watch online videos of some tutorials as well. KUDOS to GOOGLE.

Great device. Easy to use. Good value. Google makes a another great device

Once we got the Chromecast up and running (took a long while) it works great!

Better than Roku Stick, I highly recommend it! Won't freeze like roku stick and you can control everything through android, iphone or windows 8.

I was in the market on buying a chrome cast for a while but always kept hesitating and finally bought it and what a deal very satisfied customer

If you have a smart tv you can probably do netflix and youtube without this. However it works great if willing to download a couple of apps. Download the free realplayer app to see the movies you created. If you are looking for a good device for a. Good price this is it turn your 'dumb tv' into a smart tv for 35 bucks

Got it to display my computer screen on the large TV for my visually impaired father-in-law. That's not its primary design, though. Figured out how to duplicate computer screen, but it was useless to send videos from my computer to TV. What it IS good at is streaming Netflix & other stuff from your router to HDMI TV.

best little steaming stick! Seriously. I've bought and used 5 chromecasts. Excellent gift for anyone. Easy to use and setup. No complaints here.

chromecast is great- this newer model seems improved. casting automatcally changes to HDMI or turns on the tv - a new feature to this model

The chrome because I was proud of movies and training thing from your phone I would recommend it to anybody not pass for me to give it as well

My husband got this and he uses it all the time. Its nice because i can watch all of my favorite movies in my bed so that makes everything nice.

I was surprised when I can cast from any TAB into Chrome browser. Very realiable . Using Netflix app from iphone and ipad worked very well.

The set up could not have been easier and the price point is a great deal.

Chromecast is an amazing product. Most users will find the setup easy and thorough. Once setup with wifi network, all you need is the chromecast app on a phone or a website with the ability to chromecast. Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go all work and provide amazing quality. Still under development is the ability to cast a webpage to chromecast, which works but is very CPU dependent.

With the Chromecast, you are able to stream the internet onto your smart TV. Right now, YouTube, Netflix and music from Google Play can be streamed. Hopefully more apps will join the Chromecast experience. Your Android or iOS device becomes the remote to control what apps you want to use. Chromecast would be great among family or friends for sharing favorite videos and music.
