This product is easy to install...took a matter of minutes and I was streaming and enjoying internet from my tv.

Chromecast works great if you have fast internet, but I'd recommend an Apple TV if your internet is slower

I have enjoyed it for my kids. Hey are able to watch their shows and movies on Disney and Netflix without having to pay for a cable box. Not to mention the price is definitely right. We have 2 in our home and plan on getting at least 1 more.

When I installed it on my laptop, it messed it up and now my laptop is useless...not happy about that at all

We did have to adjust the tab casting quality to standard to get it to stream smoothly, but it works great!

Ideal wireless hookup for those who have it all on their phone and want to view it on the big screen.....

It is a great way to stream video, music, and pictures to a regular TV instead of getting a smart TV. From a phone, tablet or laptop, any content can be shared instantly on the big screen. Great buy!

I was torn between the Google chromecast and Roku. The chromecast won because you don't have to keep buying the new version to get the updates. Chromecast uses the updates that constantly happen through the apps. Price a plus too. $35 vs. $100. Two items to consider - this has to be plugged in to an outlet and you have to use your phone or tablet as the remote.

No where in the advertising did they say you need an android device with 4.4 or higher. Otherwise works well.

This product has really brought a lot of entertainment to our home. It makes connecting to the internet easy.

Easy to set up, move everywhere, watch youtube hd videos and much more.

The Chromecast does what it says, but don't expect too much. If you have any gaming system or WiFi Blu-Ray player, this product can be skipped as it is does essentially what they do, but you still need a phone/tablet/computer to send the signal. The only true use I have found is to queue YouTube videos in a list when people are over. It is worth the $25 for occasional use.

Works great, you need a newer 4.4 android phone to mirror your screen. But, the CC works great with my 4.1 Android using Chrome and Youtube.

Very convenient however to anyone looking to buy remember you must have a smart phone to be able to use this little device. It's ingenious!

A little confusing getting apps for a beginner but the price was right

I bought the Chromecast device because I wanted to use my hdmi tv as a screen for my laptop. I enjoy the uses I have discovered for Chromecast, but I haven't been able to figure out how to cast the desktop screen, rather than a website. I love the device, being able to view websites, streaming videos, etc., but haven't been able to use it for it's original purpose.

The set up is a little tedious, but still love the convenience of being able to watch everything on the big screen from my phone or laptop
