Do not buy if you plan on using it for watchESPN. App disconnects everytime a game goes to commercial. This is an issue that ESPN has been aware of for close to a year and have not resolved it. Netflix, HBO, showtime streamed fine. Ended up returning it due to the watchESPN issue.

It works well, I just wish there were more reliable apps to run with it. I'd rather run an HDMI cable from the laptop to the tv.

We decided not to purchase a smart tv for our guest bedroom, but we still wanted our guests to be able to stream to the tv. The google chrome cast was the perfect solution! The only drawback is that you must stream from a google chrome web browser (which may have to be downloaded on your computer).

The google chromecast is awesome. It was simple to setup and I love the versatility of being able to choose between my laptop, desktop, tablet or phone to control what I want to watch. The best is I don't have to fumble with ANOTHER remote control! Look up what you want to watch just like you browse the web, no annoying directional key typing!

It's ok, kinda obsolete if you have a smart tv. Works with Apple and android devices so it's cool

This device almost does everything I rarely use my ps4 for youtube and netflix since getting my chromecast Def worth the money

It works well on hulu and youtube. Places that you want to watch a movie on are slower and choppy-ier

It's simply used with my tablets and cell phones. Only negative for me is that it has a power cord

Very easy to setup and use. I basically use this for my bedroom TV so I can stream Netflix while I exercise. It was a no brainer purchase since it came with 3 months of free Netflix. Not sure if I would have bought it if it had not.

I'm overall satisfied with this purchase. It does freeze up from time to time with the computer.

paid 39. ... now available for 29 ..... less than the cost of a good hdmi cable. I can watch netflix youtube and others, but you have to use the chrome apps which are free. picture and sound are fine. ... no buffering. interfaced easily into my home wireless network. complete internet browser interface would make this an out of the park home run.

I am very pleased and pleasantly surprised with Google Chrome. It is easy to use, it is inexpensive and if you already subscribe to Netflix it is cheaper than buying a blue ray player with Wi-Fi to connect to your TV. The picture is great and I get next to no buffering. I recommend this product if you are looking for good at home entertainment.

First one I got worked well then stopped working took it back got another have had no problems.

This is a great way to add some streaming capabilities to an otherwise not-so-smart TV. I have about the slowest DSL around, I often get laggy video and buffer waits on the web but the Chromecast streams nearly flawlessly! I get great quality video with almost zero issues, and it's GREAT!
