The Chromecast is an awesome device. At just $35 everyone should have one (or maybe more). I recently purchased another Chromecast to use for work. I can plug it into the projector and do my presentations now without having to be tethered to the projector. You can easily cast the screen of your computer or even a connected mobile device!

I cancelled my cable TV and needed something to stream from my computer. It works, however the quality of the picture on my tv doesn't always match the picture on my computer (both the TV and computer were purchased this year). Sometimes there's also a lag. Despite this it provides access to shows and websites that I can't access through my Smart TV

Simple but very useful technology, definitely worth the cost.

Easy to wirelessly stream movies and videos, especially when switching rooms. I used to steal my roommate's, now I have my own!

This is great for streaming from phone or computer. I have used it almost every night and have never had a problem with it.

Great product for the price.The only negative comment about this product is the screen mirroring.

I can't believe it took me this long to purchase a chromecast. I've bought 3 and they are a great media devices for some cheap.

Good for running shows on the TV, but would be great if it could mirror the iPad's entire screen.

Chromcast is another streaming device. Currently you can stream youtube videos, netflix, or your computer screen. It is similar to connecting your computer to your TV by using an hdmi cable but without the extra cords. For me, my tv does not supply enough power so I have to use the micro usb plug that comes with to power it. There is no off or on button so to power it off you have to unplug it. I also use a roku and the chromcast comes in handy when I want to watch youtube videos. The chromcast should be coming out with more apps in the future, but right now it is fine. To use the chromecast, you have to download an app to your computer. The only issue I do have is the internet connectivity. I have a strong signal, but sometimes the chromecast does not connect. I assume that this has to do with the type of security, such was WEP, WPA, or so on. It is good for it price of $30 when I purchased it. I would say do your research with all the different multimedia device to see what fits your need.

I have a Samsung smart TV and wanted to upgrade to a smart TV in another room. I basically just need it for Netflix, you tube, & Pandora. This is a great gadget for that. If you want more apps this is not the gadget for you. The only other downfall, is that Netflix TV episodes will not stream automatically from one to another like my Samsung.

Right now this is one of the best products I have bought this year . It is simple , convient and provides features that rival the more expensive competitors. I am currently using it primarily for Netflix and youtube but with more apps coming this may be a cable TV replacement. Only time will tell of course and this thing has time on its side.

Great little device, excellent value for the price. Plug and Play set up only took minutes and connectivity is excellent. Since it's based on home wireless connection, if your wireless connection breaks, Chromecast connection also breaks.... My only downside point is that for now, it only has Netflix and YouTube. Looking forward to more apps.

Love all the features included for watching other sources other than TV and internet. Can watch your own videos and pictures.

Best Streaming player.. Easy to use..unbeatable at the Price

This is very easy to use. Just plug in to HDMI port and download app to phone or computer and it is ready to go. Like anything the faster the Internet speed the better it will be. Has most popular streaming choices but could use a few more. I understand Google is adding more all the time.
