This thing is awesome! Downside, it appears it must stay plugged in to work, unless I am wrong.

Really easy to use and easy to set up. This is backed by Google so it can't go wrong. Able to use your iOS device or PC to cast what you want to watch. It is pre-loaded with support on Netflix, YouTube, Chrome browser, & Google Play. Must have Wi-Fi network to get this to work if you didn't know. Overall - a great little device and it works!!!

easy to setup, quick. Good if you know what you need it for. Good to mirror desktop for meetings of webpages for fun. Drawback, this doesnt act as a direct server client utility. Trying to watch personal movies is very choppy.

Caught on sale for less than $30 at BestBuy. Bought for my daughter to use with her new Samsung Chromebook. Pairs flawlessly.

We watch a lot of shows online (we don't own a DVR) so having Chrome Cast is nice (not having to hook computer up to TV). However, the streaming is not always the fastest (though this could be due our wireless). For the price, you really can't beat it. Also, I like how small the unit is.

Looking forward to be able to access Netflix in different rooms where you don't have the Internet hooked up. Jury is still out on whether or not it will be as versatile as the Amazon fire stick. I am assuming it will have the same functionality and add a much more economical price.

This is an excellent choice for someone who's unplugged from cable. My daughter-in-law suggested this and I'm so grateful

I got the chromecast because I don't have cable at home and I got a great deal. The setup was super easy and fast and I never have a problem using it. It connects nicely each time. Only downfall is no remote but at least my phone is something I never lose which means it's convenient.

Purchased this chromecast before the new one released, so I'll be back to pick that up too.

I can watch any of my devices or entertainment services using Chromecast! Outstanding, love it.

I love the fact that you can find cheap yet great quality gadgets still. I have them on every television in the house as well as at our ranch house picture come through perfect and crystal clear! Would recommend this to all of my friends! Google nailed it when they produced this product

Great device for streaming Netflix and things to the TV. It is also neat to be able to show webpages on the TV without connecting a computer to it. Right now I only saw Youtube and Netflix (other than the Chrome browser) that cast to it. Once that expands it will be very cool for the low price. At this price I will likely buy one for each TV.

This was a handy device for viewing many channels, but it got stuck while I was watching a YouTube video and I couldn't figure out how to stop playing the video. It doesn't come with its own remote and is controlled and set up using your smart phone. Downside as far as I'm concerned is it doesn't support Amazon Prime. Upside is it's very easy to set up.

Quick setup, easy to use, and inexpensive. Great product.
