It only works on utube and picture gallery, but littlle else.

I was really surprised by the number of things that I was able to do with this chromecast, and I'm very happy to see that the app ecosystem is growing rapidly.doesn't take very long to setupwith the new update you can stream your android screen to any TV. My only complaint is the wire that sticks out but its not a much of a big problem

Bought this to stream NETFLIX from my tablet to my bedroom tv. Was super easy to set up and if you have a tablet well worth the $35.Make sure to have an empty power outlet nearby. The Play Store has several other apps that work well with this and getting a good amount of use out of it.

I feel I have got good value for money on the TV I have purchased, saving $450.00 is just cool

It works great with phones and tablets, but not as convenient as Apple tv for streaming videos.

It keeps going out and not staying connected could be better

The Chromecast is fairly cheap and easy to setup and get working. It can stream content from your Chrome browser to your TV. So, why did I only give it 3 stars? First, the quality of the stream isn't that great. I have 75 MBPS High Speed and only managed a decent to intermittently very good looking stream. Second, I hated the smartphone controls. I found Apple TV to be a better fit for me, though I could see myself using the Chromecast for streaming online broadcasts I can't get on my TV in any other way. Until then, it will gather lots of dust. If you are considering this, think about spending the extra money to get Apple TV or a Roku 3 that will give you a lot more bang for your buck. Though Chromecast only costs about one third as much, it isn't a third as good as it's competitors.

I bought this so I could watch MLB.TV through my phone and it works great. Just download the MLB AT BAT app and it streams great. I haven't tried it anywhere other than my house but looking forward to taking it on a trip.

I bought the crome cast so my grandson could watch nursery rhymes on the big screen instead of my phone screen. He loves it.

I use this in my classroom to send my tablet display to my projector. Works great to show videos, slide shows, or processes.

I use this to stream content with Localcast (for local files) and for streaming from Google Chrome. Works great for both.

Easy install but must use phone, computer or tablet to control it so there is a learning curve

I love this thing, it works great. From phone, laptop, desktop etc. Love it. Already share with family and friends to buy.

She wanted to have netflix, etcs on her TV, like we do, but she's an android freak, so.....

The device works perfect. The only drawback is that you can only cast it from Chrome browser.

I can take all the work and entertainment I am doing on my laptop and see it all on my 60" TV.

It makes things very convenient I have had some issues with steaming but I don't know if it's my internet or the device.
