Good device that will be great

This device will only get better after Google, and hopefully developers can add more functionality. Can't go wrong for the price.

Fun gadget

However, it seems like there are many other devices out there now that service this same purposes (e.g., most blu-ray players, Xbox One, etc). Still, this is a much cheaper alternative and serves its purpose.

Great and was free

I was planning on spending the $35 for it but was happy to get if free. Just plug into TV, download the Chromecast app from Google Play and you are set!!!

Chromecast - easiest setup ever

Apps are being added with more frequency and some developer code was released for others to make compatible apps for streaming their content to Chromecast. I have purchased 3 units for my household and setup a few friends.

roku - esque device

It does get hot as well but all accounts say it is not harmful. I find it better to use the included hdmi extender to eliminate some of the heat. Works great with Plex and Netflix and MLB Network!

Defective unit?

This 2nd one does seems be having issues connecting to the tv and the wifi. If it works it's only for seconds. May he defective but I've read about other people having problems with connecting to certain tv's.

Great Value and Easy to Install
