Instead of using a 50ft HDMI cord we simply plug and play the Chromecast. My friends all have one, as well, so when they are over it's very easy to switch streamers since they can all use their phones. It's one of the best $35 you can spend on entertainment.

Wonderful piece of technology at a great price

Particularly great for travel to hotels where we can now watch videos accessed from our iPhone to play on a TV with HDMI port no matter where we are traveling. Nice!

Chromecast is great!!

We had it plugged directly into the tv at first and it would get overheated and not connect. We then put in the adapter/ attachment it came with and haven't had a problem since. It works great! We no longer have cable tv, so we use it all the time.

Good reception but has its twirks

The antenna works great but occasionally has a 1-2 second that the screen becomes pixels and blurry. Other then that when it is not doing that the screen is really clean.
