You can stream videos,l from different apps like netflix, youtube, vemo..... but can't stream your own videos. Using Google Chrome browser on your computer can let you stream websites to your tv. Setup is super easy and to use it even easier. Works with ios and android.

The Chromecast is a very good product, so far I have nothing bad to say about it.

The chromecast is a useful tool for streaming media from a wireless phone or tablet.

I read about different HDMI cables and connections to stream from my laptop to my tv. I looked up the chromecast and saw that it doesn't need to be connected directly to my computer- which would allow me to move freely. Once I got it- I actually was able to connect my iPad and my iPhone. This device is perfect!!

I love my Chromecast - it allows me to stream from my phone, tablet, or computer straight to my TV. It also came with a 30-day to Google Music which I ended up purchasing for $9.99/month. A Google Music subscription also comes with YouTube Red, so my YouTube videos are ad-free. Wins all around!

The cast worked incredibly well for about 1-2 years which is decent for such a cheap device but I expected more. Netflix began freezing on it and that was that. Anyway I've discovered the joy of using a pc as an all in one entertainment hub eliminating the need for a second cast though I will miss using my phone as a remote.

I bought this for a friend and he loves it. We use it all the time to stream movies to put his google chrome browser up on his TV. It is simple and easy to use - a good value for the money. I can't wait for the technology to catch on more and see the use expand for this

This thing works so well with google chrome. It works well with sites such as youtube, netflix and crunchyroll.

Chromecast screen mirrored my Note 3 and all content was satisfied with my purchase.

Would give 5 stars if you could use it at a hotel, but other than that it is great!

I love this thing! I can stream content from a multitude of devices i own. All I had to do is plug in into the TV and my WiFi devices found it and did the rest of the set up. I see more apps supporting Chromcast and the catalog continues to grow. The popular ones that I use are supported. I use it on the regular!

We enjoy watching our TV shows that we missed on the big screen instead of the computer. We can move it from TV to TV and I can run Netflix with my iPod with ease. Great for those without cable and DVRs. One kink I need to work out is that at some point, my iPod won't control Netflix. Seems to happen after iPod sleeps.

When I purchased this I was skeptical, but it turns out to be a pretty good product.

The setup was not as easy as they made it sound. The picture is fairly jittery and jumpy. I installed a new wifi router to get much higher speeds thinking that was the problem. Although it improved, I is still not great. Also you seem to have to pay or subscribe to most of the apps that supposedly work well with Chromecast.

I am using it everyday and i love this product. It was kind of tricky to setup at first but you'll figure it out
