I've been fumbling around streaming netflix, amazon videos and youtube with my xbox...puts wear and tear on the console and the menus were awkward. With the chromecast, I can walk in any room with my phone and throw up whatever show or video I want just like that, and use it as the remote control. Brilliant!

Good product if you have android device. .would be nice if there was a way to cast screen from apple devices..

The chrome cast works really well from streaming YouTube, Netflix or any other paid service. However it does not work well with local media from tour phone or tablet. Same with any local media from a laptop or desktop. Their are work abouts for all those issues

Considering the fact that most other wireless streaming devices are at least $100, this is CHEAP. Best of all it is easy to set up, even for the not so tech savvy. The quality of the video does depend on the quality of the internet, but basic DSL still shows a great picture. Highly recommend getting this product!

I really like the Chromecast and new apps that use it are being added all the time. I originally purchased it to use at a hotel but didn't do my research first and realized it is not supported in a public wifi setting. Works great on my private wifi setup at home

This is a very good product for casting with your cell or tablet. Can used for movies, you tube and pictures.

You already have internet so why not stream to your TV and use what you already pay for? Very easy to use: you just plug it into the hdml outlet on your TV and use you smart phone or computer as a remote control. I had to install Google Chrome on my computer, but that was easy and free. You can't beat the price.

Nothings better then having what's on my phone on my T.V..I LOVE IT..

Chromecast is a great streaming stick for the price. Wish it came with a remote.

It is so easy to use. I loved the idea that you can use smart phone or tablet to control. Watching Youtube is perfect on this one. Now, google released the SDK and hopefully more apps coming soon. Cannot beat the value for $29.99 (this is how much I bought it for)

It works with my phone and allows me to use my tv with certain apps like Netflix.

I like this product it allows me to watch things from my iPhone my iPad I extremely like that I can take it to friends and family house and share online movies I really like the great price I have one on all four of my TVs that allows each individual to watch what they want to watch when I want to watch him

This device is very useful for screen casting. The only problem is it will get very hot after prolong use.

Works great! I got this for wifi available projector. So far so good.
