This product does "cast" content from your device to your tv, however, if you have an apple device it is limited as to what it can do in comparison to Apple TV. The chrome will cast certain apps that work with chrome, but not all items on your phone.

I am a google fan but I was not impressed with the Chromecast. What it does is cool but the lag was terrible. I found a much better option was the ASUS Miracast Display Dongle. It not only 0 lag but I can use it with my Microsoft Surface as well.

The Chromecast is just another great idea from Google that may or may not stay in the mainstream. It is a very cool product that allows for any person with an iOS or Andriod device to stream Netflix and YouTube to the big screen. It also allows for any Mac or PC to mirror the Chrome browser onto the tv. The mirroring works like a charm (as long as you have a robust router at home) and is the coolest feature of Chromecast. Without it, the streaming stick can't really do much of anything. What needs to happen is the addition of more apps! If you don't want to throw in $35 to only stream Netflix and YouTube, wait. I believe that there will be a lot more integration of Chromecast into other apps soon, but for now the use is very slim. If the more apps don't add in. There is no reason to purchase this product. I would look more into a Roku or Apple TV. This DOES NOT mean I do not recommend the product. I do! I can just see a reason to wait. I also bought my Chromecast when I could got the Netflix promo, so it was much more worthwhile for me to buy early.

The Google Chromecast allows you to "cast" or transfer whatever you are streaming on your smartphone or tablet onto your TV. It's very useful to watch youtube videos or netflix movies on your TV. However, I wish it could cast more websites/services.

This thing is amazing for the price! I can watch Netflix shows from my phone, plus, it's simple to use!

I love the Chromecast because I can now watch Netflix on my tv from my phone. I think it is the most ingenious idea with connecting my computer so that I can watch different shows but also still use my computer or phone to multitask.

This is a great product for the price, the features are just right and does not require an extra remote. All you need it your phone or tablet which is the best part I like, though sometimes I miss to see the selection on the TV screen. Overall I love it.

This item is really easy to setup. Just connect the Chromecast to your TV and download the app on your phone or tablet. It makes watching Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, and other smaller sites much easier and more enjoyable on a big screen TV. You can now upgrade your non-smart, non-wifi enabled TV for cheap!

This product is awesome I'm able to to stream all my movies and photos from my Android device and share then on the big screen. The only thing is if you have a slow home Internet connection this device will lag alot. To fully enjoy this device it's recommend to have decent to great internet speed.
