Customer Ratings & Reviews

My BB salesperson told me that this item was "just like a Roku". Sadly for me, I hadn't done any research beforehand. Suffice it to say, this is NOT just like a Roku. Must be operated through a cell phone, which is cumbersome and inefficient.

I love the quality and the great connection. I'm happy with the purchase

The Chromecast has made it so easy to watch things on my TV now! Before, the cables made it difficult!

It works well. We would like to use it for more things like streaming from local files, but Google restricts that too much. Our Google Play Music player would not stream what it called "side-loaded" music. It is excellent for what it does do though.

bought as a gift and she's happy with it. break free from the hdmi cable

This is actually the second one that I have bought. I use it to stream videos from my laptop to my tv - using chrome browser and apps like chrome cast. It's also great to stream videos from my phone. Overall, it's a great product.

I gave this to my son for Christmas and although he got another one, he said he was keeping them both!

Chromecast is the best thing ever. I use with my galaxy s6 and can watch anything on my phone on tv

I got mine for $25 and it was definitely worth it for my use. I recommend it!

Chromecast is the best streaming device. Can send video from Phone, computer ,tablet ... it's amazing

This was way better than I expected. It was very easy to set up, and provides great viewing quality.

I was an early adopter of the Chromecast, but it's been well worth the ride so far. It makes streaming Netflix, Hulu+ and Youtube a piece of cake. Now that Google has released the code to make any app Chromecast compatible, the avalanche of apps coming to Chromecast should be just around the corner.

better than Apple TV better than Apple TV better than Apple TV

This is a great little dongle that letter you watch YouTube and other Google stuff plus some Netflix. It takes it off your device and puts it on the TV very easily. Does it take media from anything and put it on your TV no,maybe in the future but now it does what it's designed for. And it does it well.

This is an absolute masterpiece within this price but streaming is slow sometimes. Could be better.

When I got these, my personal cell phone and tablet were both Android devices. For what I needed/wanted, these fit the bill well and were way cheaper than an Apple TV. The Chromecast is also extremely portable. It is great to just throw in the bag and hook up at the vacation spot.

If you don't have WiFi built into your flat screen, this is a good option.

Absolutely love the Google Chrome cast. So easy to install, plug and play and you are ready to roll. Easy to get all of your devices linked up to connect to the Google Chrome Cast and watch your programming. Can have any Google enabled device linked up in under 5 minutes and start your streaming.

I got this in an attempt to somewhat make my bedroom TV smart. From what I have seen thus far, I wasn't really missing much. I may not have maximized its usefulness just yet but so far I'm not overly impressed. So far I haven't streamed any shows only accessed YouTube and mirrored my smart phone to it.

This allows us to watch Netflix without an external device like the Wii or a smart TV. Very versatile.
