Excellent Streaming Device for Cord Cutters

It makes streaming Netflix, Hulu+ and Youtube a piece of cake. Now that Google has released the code to make any app Chromecast compatible, the avalanche of apps coming to Chromecast should be just around the corner.

I bought this a couple of years ago to cast shows to my tv before I bought a smart tv. I still use it with my old tv and when I visit my dad. They are more advanced now and others are available.

Easy to get all of your devices linked up to connect to the Google Chrome Cast and watch your programming. Can have any Google enabled device linked up in under 5 minutes and start your streaming.

Ok I like this thing but...

But if you have like ATT you'll be fine. The signal and range is good and it's easy to connect to.

It takes it off your device and puts it on the TV very easily. Does it take media from anything and put it on your TV no,maybe in the future but now it does what it's designed for. And it does it well.

Only issue was trying to cast from my phone. It lagged a bit, however that may have been due to download speed.

Works as advertised!

The only downside is that you do have to be running a Chromecast-ready app like Youtube in order to enjoy the functionality of the Chromecast dongle.
