I bought this as a gift for my mom because she can't get cable service in her new home with her internet provider. I plugged it in and went through the simple set up and showed her how to put netflix and youtube on the t.v. I will be buying this for myself when i get internet in my home.

For $35, this can't be beat. Much easier to use that the Inter WIDI system, doesn't require you to be on your computer to use it. Works great on the TV in the bedroom controlled by my phone. I like it enough to have 3 of them.

I got this because it came with $20 in Google Play money. It works as advertised, but you require some kind of input device (tablet/phone) to use it. I like how I can browse HBO Go on my tablet and the stick plays it. The cast function is a bit glitchy, so fast games might be a bit tough to play.

I've used Chromecast before on my older Panasonic 1080p and the picture quality was great. On my 4k TV it plays perfect. Picture is great YouTube videos ,google music and other apps work great on the Chromecast. Mirroring my tablet and phone work great! Google rocks! Keep updating it plz
