Bought this to not have to pay huge satellite or cable bill.

Google chromecast streaming is very goood , i would like to recommend this to my friends

Needs to work with more products. I was disappointed that i could not view a basketball game that was only available in spn3 on internet. I could not thow it to the tv screen like a netflix movie. Chrome cast needs broader viewing.

I bought it for my husband so he could watch his football films on the big screen, but unfortanetly, the Hudl app he uses doesn't work on Chromecast the way we'd hoped. But it's great for others. Looking forward to more partnerships with Google so more apps are made available.

My kids use this device all the time makes life a lot easier

Excellent quality would recommend to people all over the world

never got that far, am sure it's great if you don't have cable

Love my chromecast media player! Great tool to watch your favorite movies and old shows!

I got this third Chromecast for my bedroom. Now I can use my android phone to send video to chromecast to play online videos. There are more and more applications that support this device. Still waiting for my roku to catch up.

I purchased this product along with an LG 39" tv. So far, so good. Although I am not a technical wizard, it was easy to set up and use. At first, videos from my computer were choppy, but that has cleared up. A very good product.

MY ONLY COMPLAINT WITH MY CHROMECAST IS THAT I AM HAVING DIFFICULTY GETTING IT TO SKYPE.

I started to use chrome by a recommendation of friend and it's a great product to use.

Works great with my Samsung TV! Mets my needs to watch everything ofrom my phone on TV.

Bought the with $20 google play credit. Now we use it more then the regular tv program .

Via Chromecast, we enjoy viewing photos & watching videos on our home theater TV that are cast straight from our laptop & smartphones. And more Chromecast apps are coming online every month. Note: TechRadar reported on 10/17/14 that Google Chromecast '2' is on its way based upon Google's latest FCC filing. Reportedly, although the new Chromecast will support 5GHz Wi-Fi, the tests carried out by the FCC were all at the 2.4GHz band, keeping the Wi-Fi speed to 802.11n rather than the faster 802.11ac option. We shall see.

Really awesome product. Enjoying every time i use it

Love this product, great gadget for a non smart tv.

This was something I was dying to get ever since I had heard of it, mainly due to the fact that I'm a bit of a Youtube and Netflix addict. I was hoping to stream music from my server, or perhaps even videos; currently, Google has the methods of streaming locked down to a few avenues. Youtube, Netflix, and Google Music all work great, but I can't really get much other use out of it. That said, for the low price they're asking, it's a great option for those who do not have a "Smart TV" and wish to have the ability to watch expanded content on their network without excessive power use. All in all, I would definitely buy this again, but I really hope that Google plans on opening up the ways to communicate with this device, and allow me to stream from my home network rather than just the internet.

This is a great idea from Google and gets the job done on the couple of available things but it needs to have more apps and allow playing media from LAN, if this is truly going to have an edge over competition e.g Aipplay, roku, etc.

Works great for streaming from certain devices however I wish more apps could connect to it and more devices. For instance, my Microsoft Surface Pro 2 can not use the play feature on it. That would be a nice feature to include.
