Chromecast is super easy to use and it works wonderfully. I use it to watch Netflix on my TV and it took me just a few minutes to install and use for the first time.

It is good to use it when traveling, it is easy to install a nd work with it when you use hotel tv , but you want to keep your personal configuration(youtube, Netflix, etc..)

The Chromecast is one the best purchases I have made in a long time. Its extremely easy to set up, and makes watching on your TV so much easier than having to find an HDMI compatible computer, or an adapter dongle, etc. I may buy a few more for the other TVs in the house!

I love the chrome cast! I can open any web page in Google Chrome and "cast" it instantly to my tv with no issue! No need to pay for Hulu Plus when you can just cast that Hulu tab over to my TV. You can also play music, movies, tv shows, netflix, HBOGO, Pandora, and Youtube all from your phone or computer. With the SDK just being released, hopefully even more applications will be supported. Don't pay extra for that "smart" tv or that overly expensive Apple TV. I plugged in the power adapter because I didn't want to have a power draw on my TV's USB port (it's a lot more expensive to replace a tv/tv board than it is a chromecast or power adapter), but yes the power adapter is optional. There is also an included HDMI extender which is great if you need it. This literally is probably the best $35 you can spend. I got mine on Black friday though for $25. I use a MacBook Pro and a Samsung Galaxy S3, both "cast" over with no issues.

I plugged the Chromecast into my reciever so anything I stream can use stereo, or surround sound. Easy to setup, and works great. I mainly use it to stream music from my phone. Works great with ipad, or android.

I got this and disappointed due to its restricted features. I cannot even see the browser tool bar to change the web address using my remote keyboard. I always have to look into my Ipad or Laptop to change them. It is best only for viewing videos. Start it, play them and watch.

For the price, this is a great device. I can play my content from any of my devices.

Money spend well on this product, no issues easy to setup and use. Better than Roku.

I got the Chromecast because there are often things I watch online that I can now just send to my TV. We love the convenience of just selecting a choice on the computer or iPad and sending it to "the big screen" in the living room for all to enjoy. It's VERY easy to use.

There's only a handful of supported apps such as Netlix, Pandora, YouTube, and Hulu. It only screen mirrors from Chrome on a computer. It would be nice if it would mirror Chrome from a tablet or phone. Other than that, I love using Chromecast on my older TV in the bedroom.

Great concept! Currently only works with Netflix, YouTube, and Pandora. I've tried streaming other websites to it via my Chrome browser, but my wireless network didn't like streaming data to two separate devices simultaneously.

Setup was somewhat tricky for me - I am not very tech savy.
