Must own item. I have bought one for myself and couple of them for my friends.

Runs decent, can be slow at times. But overall good.

I bought the Chrome Cast stick for a brand new TV with two HDMI slots. I had been using an old HDMI cable but the playback colors were skewed. The first time that I plugged in the Chrome stick everything worked well, colors were brilliant, no lag for most viewing. But after a vacation when I left the stick off for a week the stick is sort of laggy and only responds sometimes. Still worth the $35.

This device has made my life so easy. A must have for all those who owns an LED\LCD\Smart TVs. You can control what you wish to see remotely and enjoy it. Easy to install and use. Can be used on most of the android and apple products. Value for money!!!

I purchased four of these and they are as expected and they serve the purpose.

If you have an older TV that has no smart TV features, this works flawlessly.

This product is what Google TV internet player should have been. With the Chromecast you can mirror what your browsing on your computer. Websites like Hulu, and Xfinity online will steam movies to your TV with the Chromecast. Google TV player blocks these sites.

Overall an easy setup to get your computer, tablet or phone to your TV. I got this present for my brother, but glad I set it up for him. There are a few tweaks more in understanding the concept than connectivity.

I am still trying to figure out Chromecast's reason for being. It essentially does what any number of devices do for streaming media from a computer or mobile device, but without the independent access to content from other streaming sources. A few days after getting this I also received my Amazon Fire Stick (got it for $19), which is a much more useful device - as are AppleTV, Roku, and any good Bluray player - and given the limited number of HCMI connections to my media center replaced the Chromecast almost immediately. I just don't see much of a need for such a one-trick pony.

Bought the Chromecast at suggestion of friends and I'm happy I did! The Chromecast is affordable as well as easy to setup. Fun to have when family comes over and we can all watch YouTube videos and Netflix together.

Not as great as I imagine, lags in the transmission

Using chrome cast to cast movies, tv shows etc using your apps like Hulu and Netflix makes it very easy. Best news is other than the $35 cost of the device and your normal subscriptions there is no extra cost. Just more options!
