Purchased to get tv in my guest room works great and allows online access

Didn't know what to expect when I first got it. Hand down to chromecast. Because of this item I did not have to buy a smart tv or a new DVD player. This will save you money! Netflix here I come .

This device has been beyond useful. I stream my movies from my phone or tablet with ease. The only negative I have is the power cord that hangs from the device, it's not standalone like in the commercials.

We recently disconnected our cable and Chromecast has made it much easier for the little ones to get their Netflix fix. Hoping more apps join in and use Chromecast in the future such as Amazon online and RedBox

For $35 the Chromecast has a lot of promise, but at this point in time if you're looking for something beyond streaming netflix and youtube or you want a physical remote you may want opt for a Roku box or Apple Tv

This is a great device for anyone on a budget or just looking to make your TV into one where you can stream videos from Apple/Android devices. Love how I can watch Netflix videos from my room, and mirror my Chrome browser tab straight to the TV. MUST BUY!!

I would highly recommend this product to anyone and everyone. It is a great value for the price. My only complaint about the product is that you cannot stream any screen on your computer. You have to stream a compatible app or the google chrome browser.

So far i have good experience with bestbuy. I would recomended to anyone.

For a quick and easy way to stream digital media to your TV, the Chromecast is a great deal. It is simple and easy to set up and use, but unless you have the connected laptop or mobile device right there in the same room with you, it can be a little cumbersome to run back and forth from room to room to "cast" to the TV. Also, Chromecast as a technology seems a little buggy at times working within the latest version of the Chrome browser on my Mac. Sometimes the browser tab that you're trying to "cast" to the TV can freeze up (however, I've only experienced this problem once or twice while "casting" from Netflix). All in all, for the price, this is a great device, and with future Chrome updates, may become even more desirable.

Great for Price , Not so Much great for Features I really liked the fact that bestbuy gave 3 months of free netflix . to be frank enough i bought this product for netflix. There is nothing great about this product unless i travel a lot. For those who travel a lot i recommend this device. You just need to connect this device to your hotel TV HDMI port and Play your Youtube and Netflix movies on there. I wish more apps are included with Chromecast. Alternatively for home purpose, i like WD Media Players and other Android Media Players that are economical and can play any crazy stuff you throw at them.

Its very helpful if you don't have a smart TV. It has everything you need.

Awesome item! I didn't even know that it had the screen casting feature.

It is good not to have to keep buying cables for your phone as it changes.

This is a great little device that will stream content from your phone to your tv. Only real issue is that it requires either an external power source via USB or the power adapter. Other than that, well worth the cost of entry. No longer using my AppleTV.

Bought this as a gift for my teenage daughter. She was able to set it up and start using immediately. She watches her Netflix through it and loves that she can watch on a big screen vs. her iPad.
