Why didn't I know about this sooner?!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hands down, IMO chromecast is a great little invention. I can watch videos from YouTube, Netflix, Etc on my large flat screen! Took all of 3 minutes to install completely. And 35 bucks?! Great value for product that delivers what it promised.

Tricks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was excited to try this out! At first had a hard time connecting device wouldn't pick up signal. Than every time I try to use it I would have to unplug it and plug it back in to reconnect to wifi and device. Read reviews after where people experienced same problem. Wish it would've been easier at first. Havent had much trouble with it since. Do not think I would recommend though...

Great and inexpensive alternative to bulky devices
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the Chromecast streaming media device. Super easy to set up and I'm able to switch it to any of my tv's. Unable to stream Amazon Prime but I read on the blogs that it's coming soon.

Not bad for $35, but a way to go...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This small device is a great idea. Didn't really like having to add the power supply. Would have been great to power from HDMI, but maybe it's just not an option. Streaming from my PC is what I've been using most since there's only Netflix and Youtube (both which I can already stream w/o device). Problem is Cast a tab from PC is still in Beta and will just stop casting for now reason. Then have to goto other room and click cast again. Annoying. Other than that, I'm just hoping many more apps become available to Cast (hello HBOGO and WatchESPN...) due to open Android OS. Hoping....

Great concept...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We watch movies from our phone, so loved the idea of screen mirroring. The video seems to run really choppy though, a lot of buffering (we actually have pretty fast internet too...). Good for looking at vacation phone pics on the big screen though

Nice item
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love playing YouTube from my iphone on the tv. They are adding more apps all the time so the possibilities are endless down the road. Why buy a smart tv when you can save lots of money using this device.
